I loved my stay at HC Liri hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone and would definitely come back! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Over the bookings messages, they responded to questions very quickly. I arranged pick up from the airport through them and it worked smoothly. Each day upon waking up we would be greated with coffee, fresh fruit, and a fruit juice while the kitchen staff would begin to cook our delicious meal. The garden pool was beautiful and clean. The hotel itself is in a great location as it is just a short beach walk to the city, but far enough away where it is very quiet and peaceful.
The room itself was very basic, but it definitely met all my needs and was very clean!

This was a nice quiet hotel about a 5 to 10 minute walk across the beach to the town of San Juan del Sur. The owner was there every morning to help with the great breakfast and to offer help with planning or deal with any issues at the hotel. The rest of the staff were all pleasant and helpful when needed. Very enjoyable stay.

Great cozy hotel in a great location next to the beach and a close walk to everything in town. The owner was so friendly and accommodating ready to answer any questions about the area. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was available all day. We also enjoyed a few relaxing afternoons by the pool. Will definitely stay again next time in San Juan del Sur.

Felt like home. They have great sitting areas to hangout. Since it’s a bit far from the hustle and bustle, it’s quiet.
Loved the coffee and the attention from the owner.
Wifi didn’t work for quite sometime. But this was an issue with the ISP provider caused by weather conditions.
No blame on their part…

The hotel is well located right on the beach. The second floor balcony overlooking the pool and the beach is a fantastic place to relax. The pool is reasonably large and great to swim In. Our room with two beds was basic but had plenty of space for two people. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to town, just a few minutes walk on the beach, but far enough away to be out of the noise and bustle of town. During high tide, one needs to wade through a small river to get to town, but that’s no problem, especially if one has water shoes or sandals.
There was an odd smell in our room when we arrived, which we tracked to a deodorizer stick that we moved out of the room then all was good.

The room was very small... when I made the reservation, there were not a lot of details regarding the room size.
I made a reservation for two adults, and the bed was too small for two.

Very small beds, no longer than 5'10", or 170 cm, exposed electrical wires in the showers, I did get a zap, very dangerous. Breakfast was just ok.

It was very clean. They has a nice lounge area on the first and second floors with plenty of seating and a hammock that was in great shape. The staff were kind, considerate were able to add bottled water and soda to our room charges, helped us with questions and they make the best hardy breakfast we have ever had at a hotel. It has a swimming pool, a nice view of the ocean and beautiful view of the sunset.
The bathroom was a little small and it was a little further from the central part of town when the tide is high.
