Simple rustic clean. Great views. Quiet away from noise.

I had a beautiful room near the pool with a fantastic sea view . It was great to have a shower with hot water.. The staff were charming and always ready to help.

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful the location although remote had an amazing view the restaurant had a limited menu but the food was tasty the hotel is good for people who want to kick back read and chill for a few days

This place had the most beautiful view and of the ocean along with incredible plants though out the property. Along with that they served the most amazing breakfast included in the price. I will definitely be back.

The place is amazing, very quiet, nice pool, good food, birds. Room upgrade for free to one with stunning seaview
The final price on booking didn't include 10% taxes, was written in small letter only after clicking on the little info icon. The water from the shower itched in my eyes.

The views from the room were nice. The room was colorful and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good and the hotel helped to organize a scooter for rent.
The location was very remote- it's roughly 15 minute drive to San Juan del Sur. There was nothing within walking distance so you need your own transportation or rely on taxis.
It was windy everywhere but because of the location on the top of the hill the wind was horrible.

I was in town for my cousin's wedding at TreeCasa, and was recommended to stay at El Jardin with some of the other wedding guests. I am very happy I did. The view is incredible and the setting very intimate. El Jardin has wonderful, attentive staff and offers an experience that feels like a welcoming B&B, homey and without the cost and pretentiousness of a larger corporate hotel. The breakfast provided daily is very good, as are the offerings on the lunch menu. The room was comfortable and clean, with a view of the ocean. Transportation to and from the hotel was easy, as the staff was happy provide the contact of a taxi driver (which driver was happy to provide transportation for us on our request throughout our stay in SJDS). I had a great stay at El Jardin and highly recommend it.
The mattresses are very firm, but this may not be a problem for others. Additionally, bedding includes only a top sheet and two pillows, which may not meet the needs of many guests. There were periodically some medium-sized spiders in the room, but the hotel is located in a dense, undisturbed jungle, where I'd hope there are more spiders than humans!

Beautiful view, clean pool, nice eating area to see the view. Staff was very attentive.
The road is difficult to drive. We came during the rainy season with a small two-wheel drive. We made it up the hill, but some may find it to be tricky. I imagine it's not as bad during the dry season.

The hotel staff, clifftop views of the gorgeous coastline, sunsets and delicious food at the hotel all made this a very memorable stay. I worked remotely and was very satisfied with the wifi. My room was quite basic but clean and comfortable with good A/C.
