The neighborhood is ok, locals are nice and helpful, the outdoors area is well manicured, and the pool LOOKS pretty, but I would not swim in that water. Day desk clerk very nice young man with excellent English skills.
When I arrived, after I started checking in the staff had me wait to check in while they took care of a local even though I was there first. They made me pay in cash because the internet "didnt work". They looked at me sideways when I asked for another towel, and were not pleased to give it to me. The water pressure stinks. The pool looked like it has no filter, its pretty to look at, but I would not swim in that water.

A quiet but central location. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was great. Pool and garden area were nice. The hotel felt safe as the gate was locked and guarded 24/7.
My room was a little noisy as it was next to dining area. Ask for a quiet room.

Ac worked well, basic but comfortable room! Great breakfast. To get hot water in the shower you just need to wait a couple minutes for it to get there. Great hotel!

Los Pinos ""ChaRM-os"
I had a brief yet memorable stay at Los Pinos, a boutique hotel steeped in Nicaraguan culture. The charming atmosphere was truly immersive, and I absolutely loved the stunning view from my room. Appreciated wifi and the extra layer of safety in the gated community.
The guest service attendant was exceptionally attentive and hospitable, going above and beyond by arranging a private tour of the top attractions and facilitating my airport drop-off.
Highly recommend this unique spot

Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast
The breakfast start time is a bit late in my opinion (7am).
I didn’t enjoy being read the small print relating to room damages on late arrival after a long bus journey.
It is also the first time a hotel have made me wait on checkout while they go and check I’ve not damaged the room in any way. Treating guests as potential criminals is very off putting.

The hotel is clean and the pool area is very well kept. They were pretty strict with the towels. We could have used more than 2 small bath towels for 2 people, especially considering there is also a pool. They even checked to see if the towels were in the room before we could check out. On a previous stay, our room had hot water, which was one of the reasons I decided to book another stay here but this time there was no hot water. The staff however, were very kind and the breakfast was delicious.

Location was great and quiet at night. Very safe with security. The hotel lobby, breakfast area and pool was super clean. Staff were wonderful! My only complaint is the beds are hard, the linens are old and the room with bathroom needs a very good deep cleaning! They also charge if you put stains on the linens which wouldn’t be an issue if the linens were newer. The price could be better for what you get in the rooms since it very basic.
