Restaurant was far away. In another building....

INTERNET ? The internet WiFi services ranged from extremely poor down to non-existent 2 hours after checking inn and then did not work at all for the duration of our stay (1-night). This is despite being giving a premium internet connection logging code. MEAL - ?️ ? Billed over N26k for what was suppose to be an “all inclusive free breakfast” consisting of, egg, yam, plantain and a pot of tea. We were made to pay what I consider an excessively extortionate amount for tea ? during breakfast. This is despite stating that the booking charge “includes breakfast”. When we spoke to the manager (over the phone) as part of escalating the Issue, she explained that tea is free only if you consume it in your apartment. (What a joke). In addition, despite booking the apartment for 2 people (my wife and I) via booking.com, the hotel insisted that the breakfast inclusive cost only covers 1 person. Despite showing them the property policy I received after making the booking, they insisted that their own local policy trumps anything I had received from booking.com via email. The cherry on the cake was that we were only informed about the “additional hidden cost” for breakfast just after we finished having breakfast at the restaurant, how convenient ?. The receptionist and the manager went on to say that many customers who booked via booking.com had never complained about this issue, and that we are the only ones that have ever had an issue with this, which is suggesting that we were making it an issue just for the sake of it. ?

Various steps in the apartment, all without signage to say mind the steps. Great trip hazard. No warning signs. Also very erratic WiFi.

The place was quiet

The bed was much too hard! They were gracious enough to change my room because of it though. Also food from the cafe was billed separately which is most inconvenient.
