Comfortable room, very quiet and beautiful hotel. Good staff. Delicious food at the restaurant.
IT was expensive, even for a 5 star hotel. Much higher than DC or NYC prices for comparable hotels.

The location was very good.
The price did not match the actual value. My room was poorly lit. The interior of the room for the amount being paid was disappointing . The breakfast was very basic.

I had an exceptional 8-night stay at the George Hotel and was thoroughly impressed by its many qualities. The hotel felt safe, and the cleanliness standards were impeccable, especially in the rooms and common areas. The staff and managers were highly professional, and the service was always fast and prompt, which enhanced the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the diverse breakfast selection, offering a delightful mix of African and continental options. The gym was well-equipped with essential gear to maintain my training routine, and the pool area provided a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were outstanding, featuring both a bathtub and a shower, luxurious Molton Brown products, high thread count sheets, and incredibly soft pillows that ensured a comfortable stay. The attention to detail and excellent service made my time there truly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend the George Hotel to anyone seeking a high-quality experience.
I enjoyed my long stay, had no problems.

Good location in Ikoyi
The pool was closed off when we arrived. It had a horrible odour and it looked awful. The staff explained that it was closed for renovations but I’m surprised we were not informed prior to our stay. The bathroom facilities were not 5 star. The shower was poorly constructed and the amenities were below par. The room we were given was also extremely basic and not in line with what we were expecting . The meals I had were not great. The chicken suya dish in particular was not edible and the soya cappuccino was not good

They need a bit more selection. I also stayed at Lagos Continental and i think they had a lot more selections. Also, need to make sure the food is not spoilt. i Had spoilt rice though they removed it.
Internet could be better. Switching from "The George" to "Room..." caused my wifi to disconnect in different areas of the room. They need to have knowledge of nearby activities for visitors. Provide hints for visitors.
