Very limited parking space

Getting the AC in one of the bedrooms back on after power change over

Caretaker Richard was very responsive and calm throughout our stay. However, the accommodation downstairs had several significant issues. Parking was a major challenge from the moment we arrived. Only two cars can park inside the compound, and when we attempted to park where we were directed, a neighbor shouted at us and even threatened to have our car towed. Even after one of the parked cars left, the space remained extremely tight. We often had to park far away and walk a considerable distance each time we went out and returned. Upon entering the apartment, we were hit with an unpleasant smell, and the general cleanliness of the house was disappointing. There were stains on the bathroom ceilings, dirty bathroom tiles, and overall the space felt unclean. We had to buy air fresheners ourselves just to make the environment tolerable. The microwave also had multiple issues: the LED screen didn’t work, the start and stop buttons were missing, and it eventually stopped functioning altogether. A replacement was brought, but only after 24 hours without one. The kitchen was poorly equipped—mugs were unnecessarily large, there were no teaspoons, and the only knife available was a butcher knife until we asked for a proper one. Even the plates provided were too large to fit into the microwave. No kitchen napkin was provided either. We were also only given one bin bag (the one already in the kitchen) and no extras for the rest of the stay. One of the bathrooms had no shower curtain, and the TVs in the rooms did not work. Only one bath towel was provided, and there were no foot mats, so water spread everywhere after showers. The WiFi connection was extremely poor, forcing us to rely on our mobile data. TV remotes didn’t work due to dead batteries. (Batteries were replaced by the caretaker) Additionally, some of the ceiling areas and door frames were very low—my 6’3” spouse kept bumping his head.

The only issue we had was that the WiFi kept fluctuating. It was eventually fixed the next morning.

We found these issues: 1. Cockroaches - found a couple in the apartment at different times. 2. Gap in mosquito net in the bathroom causing mosquitoes to come in. 3. WiFi was slow and stopped working at some point.
