Fun campsite in the middle of town. It’s decorated to make you feel like you’re on a cool vacation. Every campsite has enough privacy even though there are quite a few sites. The restrooms are clean. The restaurant serves delicious food and ice cold beer. I was on a 4 week rooftop camping trip. I stayed here at the start and at the end of my trip. Urban Camp was one of my favorite places to stay.
Some of the sites are difficult to access with your vehicle (you’ll be able to do it) because there are a lot of spots in a small area.

The experience, the staff, the bed (amazing!), how the whole concept was organized, everything really.
The breakfast à la carte is really good, but a buffet would work so much better for a place (and concept) like this.

Prices and service
Bed too short for a 6 footer.
Noise from traffic at 3 am ( motor bike screaming up road) and trains heard by 3 of 6 in group.

The camp is architecturally and functionally impeccable, super clean and everything works properly. It is a special feeling to stay in a tent in a city. The restaurant is also good and the wifi is fast. The staff is professional and always polite.
I think prices are a bit high. July was particularly cold and that didn't help a lot. The beds however had warm duvets and electric blankets! The shared bathrooms are very clean and comfortable, but I would have preferred a small bathroom in the room.

The property is huge and beautiful well maintained, very clean and organized! The tent is bigger than you can think and is clean, has a fridge, french coffee machine and water boiler, mosquito net, very comfortable mattress. The highlight of the tent is that has HEATED mattress, very much needed during winter!!
Showers and bathrooms are clean and very nice!
The staff is very friendly and bar and restaurant are nice too! There is parking inside and is safe! Love this place!!

Good
1. Not the camp's fault, but there is a large dog at a property adjacent to the camp barking tirelessly throughout the night without respite until the morning hours. In the five visits we had to the camp over a period of four months, the same problem persisted with each visit. The dog's barking is so loud and desturbing not even the ear plugs provided in the tents offer much relief. It is a pity that such a fine resting place is pestered by one dog and one dog owner who cannot control or manage their dog. (We are dog lovers nevertheless.)
2. Try not to use two small single bed duvets/covers on a queen size bed for a couple, especialliy during the colder months. It just does not work keeping out the cold. One large enough duvet fitting a double bed will do much better.

The concept is novel.
Despite the provided earplugs, the city noise was still a reality. However, to the avid travelling camper visiting the city enroute, the urban camping concept makes good sense. I take my hat off to some of the visitors with larger rigs navigating the profoundly limited spaces, access paths and parking areas. Even to the mid sized camping rig, navigating in those confined spaces pose a challenge. A neat setup though.
