Top class hotel in a beatiful setting with great views over the city. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Lovely swimming pool. Food, dinner and breakfast was very good. Staff were well presented, helpful and friendly.

Well located, if you have car. Room is large. Bed is comfortabel. Good pillows. Bar-fridge and roomsafe working well. Shower tap-mixer sits outside the water stream, accessible from outside the shower. Shower was great with pipping hot water. Service was good. Food was good but you pay - dearly - for that. Very good and interesting wine selection. Garden restaurant view is tirelessly amazing.
You have to park below and then climb a mountain (more-or-less) to get to reception. Room #2 is facing the road and is noisy. No comfortable functional workspace in room. No USB plugs. Plugs behind bed, difficult to access and use. Other plugs in cupboard, weird. Doorlock did not work. Sound isolation to outside (hotel property-side), also to an extend between neighbouring rooms, are relatively non existent. No warm water at the basin. Relatively expensive, especially food & most drinks. Beautiful evening view was spoiled by a very bright safety rail light, at eye level when seated +/- tight in front of my special table. Could use a lower wattage led and frost the lamp lenses.

The rooms are quirky, well decorated furnished and very spacious. The staff was super friendly. The dinner was one of the best we had in Namibia. We had room service for our dinner and it felt like the restaurant was brought into our room, it was amazing! The view from the breakfast room is great.
The breakfast could be better for a hotel of this kind, with more choices.

We loved our stay. The hotel and staff were fantastic and so helpful. No complaints they are all amazing. The rooms were well sized and very comfortable and we loved our welcome drinks. And the view is phenomenal!

It is a pity that there are no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Prices of restaurant dinner items seem to be rather high. even though the quality is excellent.

That it is central
Cold wind coming through the window during our entire stay and very cold floor without Hotel Slippers. With all the days and money we spent there, I expected better. The bathroom was smelling like sewage even after house keeping had been there. Hotel Heinitzburg will NEVER see us again. The only good thing about the hotel, is the staff. They are very professional and friendly.
