The property is centrally located, the vegetation is carefully selected and is in harmony with the rocky and dry conditions of Klein Windhoek, and its landscape is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Ms. Barbara, the Manager we interacted with on site is flexible and was able to change our room to the one that suited our needs. Ms. Shiavanga (not sure of spelling), one of the staffers responsible for breakfast and cleaning our room, is efficient, kind and friendly. Her warmth and sense of service made us feel as if we were home away from home. Every establishment would benefit from having an employee like Ms. Shiavanga. We plan to stay at De Vagebond next year when we go to Windhoek for our annual holiday.

Location was great. Close to supermarkets and in a nice and quiet area. Personel was really nice and helpful. Free luggage storage is really useful.
Internet access was very cumbersome or not even working properly. The shower was leaking and not easy to get a decent temperature. A microwave would be a nice addition since dinner options are limited due to the fact that we can't walk in the streets after 6.30p. Some areas need to be refreshed -taxi couldn't find the hotel because the sign in the street is not visible.

was the closest available option compared to price and distance from the SA Embassy. The garden and looks of the place is very nice. heater and aircon, big room, tv, nice breakfast, friendly staff. Good directions and convenient layout of rooms and property.
Shower taps were not working well.

noisy area, bad breakfast, old cheap furniture, no microwave in the entire property (not even in the kitchen), no milk, no complimentary water, little value for money

Nice safe area with easy access. Room was big with its own kitchen and lounge area. Massive bed - I lost my partner at one point in it. Loved the pool area too although we didn't get to swim. Breakfast was nice
The room needed a little bit of an update. The bath mats had holes in, the shower grout and drain needed attention, a tap didn't work (although two sinks so not a massive issue) as well as a couple of lights.

Very very good, it gives you the feeling of being healthy. Since I was in quarantine, I had the opportunity to select what I wanted to eat from a range of options. Very good. The staff were very good, and surely the environment very homely, and the flowers and stones just add a touch of connection to nature. The internet speed - exceptional.
