Wonderful
Staff was very nice including the guard outside for the car park. Rooms are stunning, huge and comfortable, the heated blankets were fantastic given the cold temperatures. Breakfast was really good with French toast, pancakes, eggs and organic fruit salad etc.

Some rooms (including ours) have no view to the ocean bit are in the back, so the entire „on the beach“ experience didn’t really work out. Not the fault of the hotel but on top there was quite a lot of fog so the sea views were not really happening either.

The staff were the best part of this place - all very pleasant and the omelette was the best of all the (more fancy) places we stayed during our trip.
The location is not where I would choose to be if I returned - I want to be able to enjoy the beach and that was a drive away for a swim. The photos make it look like the rooms have good views but most don't so if you do book make sure you specify that you must have a front room.

The rooms on stilts are unbelievable and the view on the atlantic from the balcony wonderful. The beds even had warming blankets - how perfect in winter. The room itself was pretty well insulated. Breakfast was nice.

We enjoyed every minute. Excellent staff! Big roomy accommodations, good comfortable beds with great linens. Comfy couch and nice coffee station and mini bar. See the birds and even camels as you walk to breakfast. Excellent breakfast. Walking distance to beach and several eateries. Easy walk to downtown shops.
It would have been better to stay longer!

The property is very clean, and a short walk from the beachfront and pier. It’s a basic stay but perfectly adequate for a couple of nights.
Room 1 is right by the entrance to the lodge so it’s very noisy; request a different room if you want quiet.

Nice room with great facilities. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
our room was the closest to the road so it was quite noisy at times. There seemed to be some sort of car/bike meeting in the local neighbourhood so lots of revving engines which was a pain. If you do stay try and get a room nearer the water as these are farthest from the road and probably have a better view too. Maybe they only give the rooms nearer the road to Booking.com clients!

View from balcony close to ocean and Swakop River. The guest house was on stilts, over the dunes. The cottage itself was very comfortable with little fridge in room, bug spray which was useful as it was the rainy season. The staff was EXCELLENT and VERY HELPFUL, pleasant and COURTEOUS……Elsie, Silas, Johnny were some of the names I recall but there were others! Breakfast was served in an adjacent cottage… a variety of eggs cooked to order, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, breakfast meats and delicious coffee .
The office was willing to keep our luggage on site and we left our rental car in the parking lot adjacent to the office while we took a 2 day, 1 overnight desert tour.

Love everything about Stiltz, great breakfast, great staff, great location and amazing accomodation. Theye even bring me a table to the room so that I can work. Will always go back!
Really nothing that I could fault in this place. They even bring me a table to work at. Actually the rooms could do with a small table to sit and work.

We loved our cabin at Stiltz - it was roomy, built with natural materials, very nicely decorated and super comfy. The walkways of the lodge gave great views over the ocean and we saw various birds and even camels. The staff was super friendly and kind, the shower was great and the beds were really comfortable. Definitely recommend!

The main attraction is the facility itself. Rooms lovingly and professionally hand crafted of wood. A real pleasure. The stilts concept is also really nice.
