We stayed 4 nights over Christmas 2023. Meike, Klaus, Nina and all the staff were exceptionally welcoming and always around with a smile and happy to help. The rooms are lovely, spacious and very clean. A lovely continental breakfast in the restaurant gets the day off to a great start. Highly recommended!

Breakfast and reception staff were lovely
Our rooms and our belongings were not safe at Meike’s. * Her disrespect for our personal property cost us money, not to mention our work and valuable time. * Our privacy was not respected by Meike; she treated our serious requests flippantly and then lied to us. * When we let Meike know of the serious issue we had with this, she reacted with unconcern and tried to blame someone else for her failure to protect our personal things. If there is any kind of issue with your stay, your rooms, or your private items, don’t expect respect or apologies from this owner. She behaved as if once a guest comes onto the guesthouse property, the guest’s personal property automatically becomes hers. The breakfast and reception staff were lovely, however because of the above we cannot recommend.

Excellent breakfast and plenty of it! Great location within an easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the center of town. Meike is a fantastic host, providing guests with helpful suggestions for what to visit and good places to eat. It was a delight!
