Desert Breeze Lodge, located on the banks of the Swakop River is 1.6 mi from the town of Swakopmund. Some units feature a private sun deck with views of the surrounding sand dunes. Beautiful scenery upon arrival, the structure of the bungalow was absolutely amazing and aesthetically pleasing, not something you see everywhere and everyday. The service from the staff was top tier, honestly it’s better to experience everything in person.

Beautiful property!! Very accommodating to us with our change in travel plans. Truly such a beautiful place and rooms were very comfortable! We wish we stayed there longer! Breakfast was delicious!

The location, overlooking the desert, is great. The room were spacious and very cozy. It also had a fireplace which helped a lot during cold nights in August. Breakfast was also very good.

Andrea and the staff were so friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The view of the dunes are incredible. Highly recommend.

The views
The shower was unhygienic, with hair left from previous guests, and even after reporting it to the staff, nothing much was done. The WiFi didn’t work at all during our stay. Breakfast options were extremely limited, and there was only one staff member managing both cooking and serving, which affected the overall quality of service. The experience was underwhelming.

This was place was absolutely wonderful from every point of view. We stayed 4 nights and would happily stayed much much longer. Lovely layout overall, spacious and clean room and bathroom, comfortable bed, very nice space in front of a fireplace... and sublime view over the Dorob National Park sand dunes. Our favorite stay in Nambia and one of the best stays ever also planet-wise. No matter how much time you will spend here, you will want to go back.

Really nice setting on the river bank, close/short drive to Swakopmund center. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nicely laid out with beautiful views towards the dunes. Well equipped also. Good breakfast.

Anastasia was a lovely host and offered a number of recommendations on places to go and things to see. The room was lovely and the views spectacular. A unique property that's just a few moments from the centre of town yet which feels like you're at the edge of the wilderness. Breakfast was good and staff friendly there as well.

The breakfast was not that special, and I think to be called a lodge the property needs to offer at least dinner as well. Otherwise its is merely a bed and breakfast and not a lodge.
