The check-in went well. Parking facilities are good. The staff is friendly. The location is good.
The room we stayed in (411) needs lots of attention. There is no plug near the kettle. You have to move the kettle to your bedside table in order to make use of the coffee station. The cupboard - no place to hang a jacket, shirt or dress as the space is too short. The tap is constantly leaking. The towels, when drying yourself, smelled "musty/moldy" not fresh. The breakfast buffet is simple. The pool area should be under supervision. Small children should under no circumstances be allowed to swim there by themselves as the one side of the pool has no protection. It is open and dangerous for a playing child or inattentive person ??

Nothing beside choas upon arrival with the booking
The receiptnist were very unfriendly and not welcoming, they took time to attend to me. I book for different dates yet their system was showing different date and yet they didn't make any effort to call and find out about the arrival nor assistance to help resolve the matter, ended up talking to the owner of the hotel over the phone but she was also unwilling to assist and very unfriendly aswell, I ended up looking for another hotel and lost all my money for this booking as I had paid in full already via booking.com

The room was nice with a partial view of the Atlantic Ocean. The service was exceptional and the staff went the extra mile to make our stay exceptional. It was our marriage anniversary and the complementary champaign and special breakfast arrangement made our stay extra special.
The room was a bit small but nevertheless comfortable. The fact that our stay was so short, only one night.

The service from Martin and Otis was excellent. They really took great care of us.
Otis kept going out of his way, over and above the call of duty to ensure that we had the best stay.
I am certainly telling my friends and family who come to Namibia to stay at this hotel.
Very good value for money
Large rooms. We had a lounge and dining area, a big kitchen and 2 big bedrooms. There were 2 spacious bathrooms as well.
Breakfast was delicious, and the service from the staff was excellent. We loved everything about this place.

We had an apartment with a kitchen/living room area and a separate bedroom that was the perfect size for a week long stay. The location was good, we had a balcony with a view of the ocean and it was possible to walk into town but beware that this hotel is at the edge of the town so it's a bit of a walk to get to shops and a beach where you can swim. The breakfast buffet was very simple but you could order hot food too such as pancakes, eggs, omelettes and bacon. The dinner we had at the restaurant was good with big portions and reasonably priced. We had exceptionally good service from the shift manager that checked us in and also served us in the restaurant. We ordered a cocktail that was not to our taste but we weren't going to complain about it, however when he saw that the cocktail was untouched he insisted on bringing us another one for free, and then even tweaked it to be exactly to our taste.
The housekeeping was excellent, they cleaned the apartment perfectly every day.
On the whole we were very happy with our stay and can recommend it.
The window in the bathroom opened into an inside hallway which was a bit weird.
Given the climate in Swakopmund, we would have loved it if the rooftop "pool" which is the size of a hot tub, was actually a hot tub because it would have been amazing to use it both during the day and at night with the views from there. As it is, it's unusable for most of the year, from what I know about climate there.
