Wonderful
When I first arrived the person at reception sent me to a different part (back building) of the hotel when I had ordered room in the front building. Upon arrival at the back unit I complained and the second staff member I spoke to checked me in properly.

Breakfast room was pleasant.
Meal service at the "Bar and Grill" restaurant. the one waiter had a terrible attitude towards us as customers and that was extremely disappointing. He went about his job in a very unsatisfactory manner, with an attitude that appeared as if he was doing us a favour!

Love the location and grand luxury feel of the property, as expected from the brand. The staff were very welcoming and attentive during my stay. The room was big and spacious, basically an apartment, with amazing balcony views! The restaurants I visited for breakfast and dinner that were situated on the hotel premises were excellent.
I requested an airport shuttle pickup the day before I landed in Maputo, they messaged me offering one on the Booking chat but they never confirmed it. When I landed in Maputo they still didn’t answer confirming my request and so I had to go with a local taxi driver at the airport to get to the hotel because my phone service was bad and I couldn’t call the hotel. I ended up being fine with the local taxi but still this service failure was annoying and totally unacceptable from a brand like Radisson Blu. They eventually answered me in the booking chat and apologized for the inconvenience but they never told me why my request was never answered, that’s unfortunate and it plays a role in the final score I’m gonna give this place. On top of that, I consistently smelled some funky sewer-like smell from the drainage in my bathroom shower and one of the A/C unit controls in my room was not working, kept showing an error message and wouldn’t turn on. Disappointing about all these things but my experience at the property was still good overall, hopefully these issues don’t happen to future customers.

Good location. In reality it is the only lodging remotely up to par in Maputo city. Staff was helpful. Very clean pool.
Facility still needs a bit of maintenance. Tiles falling off in the pool, etc. Mattress wasn’t great, nor pillow choice (all are square shape and fluff to flat). I personally like it when they have one supportive pillow, and one soft pillow to choose from. However, it is the best choice in Maputo.
