The peaceful beach amd wonderful staff! Shoutout to Fazil at the front desk..Absolutely helpful from the moment I walked in the door...and Augusthino in the breakfast. The staff truly make this property shine.

This is the second time I come to the Catembe Gallery Hotel. I truly enjoy the location with the beautiful views, being right on the beach, the quiet romantic atmosphere with the sound of the waves, and of course the super helpful and friendly staff. 100% my go-to place when I'm in Maputo

How close the chalet was to the ocean, the staff was very kind and did their best to make our stay more enjoyable.
Not being able to use the pier at the facility, we saw it as a place to gather during the day and night with drinks and maybe music but the structure was clearly not safe and was closed.The hot water was depleted very quickly in our chalet so a hot bath was not possible. The mosquito net had a hole in it and did not enclose the bed as one would think. Over six days the breakfast menu never changed, a resort serving processed mini Viennes as sausage and no bacon! Was too basic for the cost and very disappointing. The staff we're amazing and the stay here was educational at best.

The facility had a good view
This facility really needs to upgrade its apartment the kitchen doesn't have the basic utensil the fridge is rusted which is so unhealthy to keep food. the beds have insects and bugs and there is dust all over the place . there is a single shower that doesn't work and a bathtub in a three bedroom that doesn't work properly hot water is a problem.staff was understanding but not much they could do .i had to move out because the facility was so bad.

So disappointing. It seems like the rooms haven’t been maintained in ages. Starting with the small things—like the bedside plug you have to unplug the TV just to charge your phone. We arrived at 14:30, but our room wasn’t ready. We waited for over two hours while they cleaned, just to be able to settle in. Under the basin was covered with a cloth—possibly hiding damage? The roof was also in terrible shape. The only well-maintained areas seem to be the restaurant, pool, and reception. As for the rooms, they’re in serious need of an upgrade, especially considering the prices charged. Pictures attached below.

Our stay was truly exceptional! The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring Mozambique
