Room was comfortable, spacious and view was gorgeous. Breakfast satisfying. Beautiful grounds.
1.It was blistering hot and the main lobby was not AC-ed, the space under the ceiling fan did not have seating. In fact lobby seating located at a very hot secluded corner, can't see approaching vehicles or the main lobby area well. 2. Staff robotic, especially in the main desk area. No smiles and general attitude not welcoming. 3. Property is old, not keeping with the times. Lifts are located inconveniently, access for elderly not enough. Every morning my elderly mother had to contend with the stairs going down to the cafe, not acceptable.

The staffs particularly staff Magdeline and Captain Khairul from the STAR MARINA are exceptionally nice and accomodating. Their customer service level is off the charts. Thank you for making my trip there with hubby, trully memorable.

such an amazing property and amazing staff - particularly Gloria at Coco Joes - she was incredible! my friend and I joked that this is the perfect romantic holiday. honestly everything about this place is incredible if you are seeking to put your phone down, catch up with a loved one, family or friends, and chill out. we climbed Mount Kinabalu in the middle of our stay and the hotel kindly looked after our baggage for us free of charge.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were very attentive, the swimming pool & water park for the children was amazing.
There was a limited day time menu & limited choice to dine in the evening. The evening food I would not rate, some western food would have been appreciated in the evenings, especially with children. The horizon club could have been more attended to.
