Very Good
The room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall environment was peaceful and relaxing. It’s a nice place for a short getaway to unwind and enjoy some quiet time. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The room felt slightly old and a bit gloomy, and there was some minor dust in certain areas. The TV network was also unavailable during our stay due to connection issues, but we understand that it was beyond the property’s control.

Breakfast selection was not much, but adequate.
Payment was at the counter and there was no need for any deposit.
The scenery was awesome overlooking Kota Kinabalu during day and night, as we stayed for two nights.
The location was midway to Kundasang, so we took the opportunity to explore Kundasang which took another approximately 2 hours.
Television was just a static photo and when we complained, the technician mentioned that the service was unavailable.
There should install a vending machine near the accomodation, because the Cafe closes by 9 pm. No seven-eleven nearby, the nearest town of Manggatal takes more than 20 minutes downhill.
The toilet door and toilet seat need to be fixed.

good location, not too far from the city to enjoy staying at the mountains. 40mins journey only. awesome view, can see the sea sunset from the mountains and Mount Kinabalu.
Food can be better. only the fish fried noodle, fish porridge is good. the rest can improve.

The majestic sunset and the mountain view from my room was lovely. The receptionists were also very warm and friendly. The room was comfy with all the basic necessities.
There was a youth group event during our stay, and the kids were a bit noisy. But thankfully they quietened down during the night. In terms off sustainability, the resort can consider the use of reusables glass bottles for water instead of the plastic ones.

Disappointing
The staff tried their best and was very helpful. The facilities are old and looks dirty. The bedsheet was stained, the roof leaks terribly at the "chessboard" area, nothing was on TV (only 2 blurry channels working), water heater takes forever to warm the shower water, etc…
Dining was a major disappointment. We had to wait so long for dinner as somehow our order was "misplaced". And when my char kueh tiaw finally arrived, it was missing the fried egg. And when the fried egg came, it was over cooked to the extend that it was crunchy. The chicken chop even had burnt taste. The breakfast the next day was terrible. Very limited choice and long wait for refill.
The facilities and the food is not worth the stay. For that amount, I expected much better facilities and dining experience.

Hot rain shower did not function.. the staff show us how to use but waiting about 10 minutes still hot shower did not function properly.. water really cold at the top of kokol hill during stay..
