Located 15 minute walk from train station in new area of town. Room small, but comfortable, air conditioning, WiFi, water all good. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet has large selection of food and was quite good when it was hot.
First day of breakfast buffet - when I came to eat at 8:30 am the food was all cold. Second day when I ate at 7:30 food was hot. This is a matter of aesthetics, but I also didn’t like the huge poster about hotel services located on room wall. A small notice on back of door would have made room feel less cheap and tawdry.

Location, staff was helpful, though their english wasn’t always good
The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, fatty fingerprints int the the TV screen and the windows, behind the room door was and stayed dirty, even when I asked them to clean it, they forget to clean under the beds, The shower cabin was full of moulded silicone, and the blades of the ceiling fan were thick with dust, how can you have a “clean” room with dust flying around above your bed. After I changed the room the next day, in the new room I found out at night that the remote control wasn’t working, when maintenance came and finally were able to have the airco working, I noticed 10 min. later that it started leaking water on the bed. I guess the hotel needs to have a real check-up and clean-up.

Good value and good location. Close to all the local sites in old town nearby like Concubine Lane, local restaurants and night market - around 10 - 15 minutes. Includes breakfast which was pretty good for me - hot meals & drinks (coffee, milk, and soda) with combination of western and Asian dishes including noodle soup. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Gurdeep for providing great tips and information on where to go and do in Ipoh.
Small room and had to transfer room because the toilet had a leak. Room I transferred to also had issue with aircon leaking water. Reported both matters to reception.

All especially room with city view at night ! Buffet also good ! Tv got few channel can watch , got hair dryer & iron with board also ! Totally worth every penny
Toilet ! Got drain smell once we open glass door for the 1st time.. after few time used , the smell go away but please check drain in toilet and put some air freshener

Location is good - close to many eateries.
Staff was unfriendly, don't smile. Though I had made an earlier request for check-in at 2pm & the property replied that it was ok to do so, when we arrived at 2:30pm, they refused to let us check in though the rooms were already ready. Staff showed their displeasure very obviously with this request. The walls of the rooms are not sound-proofed. We had neighbors with screaming kids till near midnight. We could also hear them talking.

I like the hotel because it offers reasonable price including breakfast, has good and safe parking basement and it's at the centre of Ipoh
I can hear the neighbour voice next door loud and clear and sometimes I can smell people smoking outside the room

The unit we had was fantastic. Bed was super comfy as were the pillows! The breakfast was amazing and great selection! Place is clean, probably the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at!
