Wonderful
Great location, walking distance to restaurants/shops. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly staff. Free tea/coffee at reception area. Basic but all that you need for a short stay.
Bathroom was quite small but not an issue for us.

Room is clean and cozy. Located right in the heritage area. Staff is cheerful and helpful. Very worth it for its price range.
Parking is a headache. Would be perfect if they put water dispensers on every floor instead of just on the ground floor.

Good location, parking always available for my motorbike, quiet, clean, friendly staff etc. The location is central but still a good bit away from the heavy traffic on the Prangin and Weld avenues. My room had a window that could be opened.
No access to a place to dry laundry in the sun f ex a roof top. This is a common minus with most hotels nowadays, so not unique to B Street but worth mentioning if the owners wish to find ideas for improvement. If i plan to stay more than just a few days ( i come to Penang to study martial art and i sweat a lot! ) it is nice to be able to do some of my laundry myself and not have to hang-dry wet stuff in the room. I never asked though, so perhaps it could have been sorted out.

Disappointing
Good location close to the nice Camera museum and Batik museum in Armenian street. The room was clean. There is an iron in the corridor.
This hotel is OK for a short stay in Georgetown but the small room of 7 m2 without window is not suitable for a longer stay! No kettle in room but you can get free cold/hot water for tea or coffee upon receipt. As for the staff, the woman was very friendly and professional, unlike the young guy who was more busy with his mobile phone than with his work, he did not know anything about the city, even if there was a Landry service at the hotel.
