I used to stay here all the time. Breakfast and "Happy Hour" consusted in an arry of food served on plates with cutlery. Now food offerings are diminshed and servings are on styrofoam plates and plastic utensils. VERY wasteful and horrible for environment

I liked everything, the staff was very friendly, from the security guards, the receptionists, the valet parkers, the cooks, the cleaners, everyone did an excellent job.
I didn't like that there wasn't much drinking water. They only gave us two bottles of water. I understand that water is life, and it would be a plus if they at least gave us unlimited drinking water.

The people working in the hotel were all very nice and helpful, the breakfast was good, the hotel was clean and the kitchen had all basic items in case you wanted to cook/eat.
There were quite a few stores close to the hotel.
The booking site gave me a room with two beds for about $780, but when I got there they said the hotel has no rooms with two beds, such rooms do not exist.
So I had to pay an extra $300 to get a room with one bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was a very used poor quality mattress, with the metal springs coming through it, was extremely uncomfortable to sleep in, and I could not get a good rest, plus my whole body was in pain.
The air temperature thermostats did not work to keep the temperature you set up/hood, and kept making the room cooler and cooler, if you let them on, so had to be up all day and night to keep turning the air conditioning on and off, so I can breath and not be frozen …
The windows had a very poor insulation, as there was continuous noise from the street/outside, even though we were at a high level, and all noise made by cars, motorcycle, wind etc were heard very loudly, which kept me up all night.
The fridge was not really cooling - butter was very soft while in the fridge, and other foods were not cold.
The coffee machine and hair dryer were not working properly or at all, at times.

I liked that the room was a suite. I liked that the halls were quiet. I liked the refrigerator in the room. The staff was very friendly. The location was good. I liked they had Fox News on the television.
The sofa had a bad smell. The towels looked a bit dirty and were a bit worn. The breakfasts were below my expectations. The breads were not good. The pancakes were cold. The coffee was weak and cold. The television reception was spotty.

Staybridge Suites is an excellent hotel, in front of Plaza del Sol Shopping Center and near Guadalajara Expo with free shuttle to go. It is so convenience. The hotel is clean, good and friendly staff and offers breakfast. The room was excellent and clean.
I missed café de olla, a really good mexican coffee. I asked for it and they bring me from the hotel in front of Staybridge. The breakfast only included american coffee, so bad. It included other mexican food, but pancakes and french toast are only offered at weekends. I think it would be bring everyday.
