It is a very intimate setting but so well laid out. We stayed for the first night in the king room with plunge pool. It was nice but small and some minor repairs would’ve made it feel a bit more luxurious. We moved to the 3 bedroom villa which was a dream! It was so well appointed, the rooms were big, very comfortable beds, the pool and “backyard” was lovely. It has a large picnic table a hammock and plenty of place to lounge by the pool. I also loved the set up of the property pool. It has little nooks for you to relax and still feels like you have your own space. It also connects to their sister hotel Bardo which we really enjoyed. You can utilize all the facilities and they have a small boutique to shop and restaurant and separate bar.
The food with a few exceptions was very very mediocre. Bardo offered more selection and tasted better. The large king room needs some attention to small details. The pool needed to be cleaned and there was rust on the door hinges which made them very loud and outlets that needed some cosmetic repairs. I also don’t know why the road that leads to the hotel is full of enormous potholes

Bartender Santos went above and beyond to take good care of us at Villa Jacinta! We had a great week, just no hot water ? I would come back in a heartbeat. The hotel was very clean and all staff were so friendly.

It’s a beautiful hotel but what’s even better you get access to their other two sister hotels, Bardo which is just a few mins away and the stunning Milam (20 min walk). They have great yoga courses there and the pools are amazing.
The location is not the most central but good enough.

The place looks amazing, with yoga classes in the morning.
Also we had a great party at Bardo (neighbor hotel) on our first night.
We booked a room with an outside plunge pool and a tub, when we got into the room we found out there was no tub in the room.
After talking with reception they told us that it is pending availability which didn't make any sense.
After long negotiation we got a 13% discount on our room.

Great property, quiet location, environmentally friendly design, nice staff.
Not many places to eat around, and it is a bit of a walk to town. There are few places a couple of blocks away, but if you are after a wider choice in town get a taxi.
