Wonderful
Great location, right on the beach. Nice to have access to the beach club as well. The staff were warm, friendly and accommodating, breakfast was filling, the room was very big.
Unfortunately, there’s a very loud generator on the south side of the property, and depending on where your room is, you might hear it.

Good
Good space, offers yoga which was very nice, beach area is also nice. Well located making it walkable to bars and restaurant spots in Tulum. The tacos were excellent!
Breakfast was pretty terrible - it could improve by offering fresh juice and water and better options such as toast with butter and jams. Anything extra, including butter you would be charged for. The staff were also not very helpful or flexible. If you are sharing a room be mindful that it's an open space layout, with no doors to the bathroom.

Very Poor
Location in tulum party strip is good.
The room and overall facilities were in poor condition and far below the standard expected for the price charged.
• Air conditioning: Completely ineffective — the room never cooled down, even at night. I reported it immediately, staff inspected it and claimed it was “working fine,” but the temperature remained uncomfortably warm throughout my stay, making sleep difficult.
• Sealing/gaps: There were large, visible gaps around both the door and windows, allowing constant drafts and easy entry for mosquitoes. This resulted in multiple bites each night despite using repellent.
• Cleanliness: The bathroom had visible stains upon arrival (persistent stains in the sink and bathtub, as well as stained/mildewed grout). These were not fresh marks but clearly longstanding, indicating the bathroom had not been properly deep-cleaned before check-in.
These issues were reported to reception on the first day, but no alternative room was offered, no meaningful fix was provided, and no compensation or adjustment was made. As a result, I checked out two days early (after only one night of a four-night booking), as staying longer was simply not tolerable.
For the high rate paid, the value was extremely poor — the property’s amenities do not justify an overnight stay. The maintenance and hygiene shortcomings were objective and significant, severely impacting the entire experience.

Wonderful
Location is perfect, hotel is pretty, staff was amazing
Everything was really good overall, but there were just a couple of small issues:
1)The water pressure in the shower was quite weak.
2)The top window in the room didn’t have a curtain, so light came in early in the morning.

Disappointing
It's on the beach
The bar was closed already, the room wasn't a room at all it was a very small teepee with no amenities thus very overpriced. The beach in front of the hotel was very dirty.

Thanks for Lean, Anka, Sol, the experience team.
Thanks for the singing class, Zumba class,, Cenote visit (one of my highlights during the stay as can do the kayaking as well, it's a hidden germ) , Yoga classes (all time favourite(, running session, Welcome drink session,, etc. Make my Selina Tulum experience memorable and made some new friends.
I would love to join the Volleyball session. If it's are 4pm that will be better. As I can chill a little bit longer by the beach or pool after lunch then play the volleyball.
Michelle, Emmanuel, and others in reception,
Thanks for providing the transportation and other advice.
I have a very pleasant stay at 4 bed dorm with bunk bed. It's quiet on weekday. Only party music on Friday (before 12pm) and Sat (1pm). So enjoy the vibe of you visit on the weekend.
24 hours AC on and with hot shower, shower gel, hand soap and conditioner. Full of activities over the week.
Co-working place and most activities are free now. As Selina is under restructure and wanna Target digital nomad and provide relaxing place instead of party hostel images. Likely they will increase the price.
Only can book thru the reception WhatsApp number at the moment when I left.
The bunk bed I stay ( not the twin bed in the room) with a low ceiling, can't sit up straight even for a very short person.
The lock in my upper bed is not working.
The kitchen does not have enough cup. Or ppl take it out and not return to the kitchen.

Location is excellent, parking available
Rooms are very sparsely decorated, for examples, you have simple chairs as nightstands, no hairdryer, etc.

Especially thanks to Emmanuel, who helped me to update my booking as I keep extended my stay and make a mistake. I don't need to worry about my stay.

Very Poor
The only good thing about this place is the location which is perfectly located on the beach in the hotel zone.
The rooms are extremely dirty. The bathroom is disgusting and not well maintained. The sheets are dirty and damp. The towels are dirty. The staff are unfriendly. At any given time, they can move your personal belongings from your bed or remove food from the fridge and kitchen without any notice. There was few days that it rained, and the whole kitchen was flooding with water dripping from the ceiling.
If you ask them to refill the hand soap or paper towels in the bathroom, it will never happen unless you follow up few times. There are spider webs in the closets and on chairs, and on the walls. The ceiling in the bathroom looks like it has mold on it. Also, be aware that they regularly fumigate the rooms so if you have your stuff laying around, they will just spray your stuff without even telling you. They also once just removed all my personal stuff on the bed and changed the sheets saying that it is protocol to do that after each 2 days of stay. Well I had originally stayed there for two weeks and they never followed their “protocol”. That one time that they did, they had thrown all my belongings to the side floor to do that and my loop earplugs went missing after that. The staff also can at any given time remove your food from the common kitchen/fridge area and throw them out if they want to without any notice. I would not recommend staying here if you looking for a comfortable stay with friendly staff.

The view and location were phenomenal.
It was our anniversary, and although we didn't EXPECT anything, we were told upon arrival that we would receive a complimentary bottle of wine. This was so sweet and we were very much looking forward to it. It never came and when we asked about it, the communication was lacking and we never received it.
We didn't get beach or pool towels. We tried to change our massage details and AGAIN communication was difficult. No one offered to help with luggage and we were told we can have a late check out at noon, yet someone was knocking on our door at 11:15 to kick us out.
AC was pouring water at night and waking us.
The yoga instructor never arrived for the class...
All in all, the location, my company and the view are all the reasons we would come back. However, communication & customer service need to be worked on.
