DO NOT STAY HERE. This is by far the worst hotel you could ever stay at, seriously. It was so bad that I left early and let them keep my money. Reasons:
1. You’ll see other reviewers make the same comment: it is fucking loud. All day long. Your room literally vibrates all day long with pounding annoying music from the property and the neighboring properties. You cannot do anything peaceful during the day or read or anything like that because it’s just pounding loud annoying music all day long. You can’t sleep at night because your room vibrates from the noise. Absolutely unacceptable. We expressed our concerns to mgmt and all they had to say was oh well it’s DJ season you should’ve known this. Or they say ahhh the property next door is unpredictable.
2. It may look like a cool rustic vibe, but it just sucks having a bathroom outdoors. It is full of bugs, worms, lizards, agoutis, etc. the doors also have massive cracks in them so everything outside is pretty much inside as well. You sleep and feel like there’s stuff crawling on you.
3. To add to #2, the water in the shower has very low pressure and is not hot.
4. Food is average at best. Not cheap either.
5. The property generally sucks. The beach is tiny and miserably windy and rocky and full of seaweed. It would be a hazard to try and swim. I didn’t see a single person swim. You also wouldn’t want to swim in the pool because it’s cold and miserably windy. The lounge beds in front of the pool suck. They’re hard and uncomfortable with giant speakers banging in your ears.
6. Not easy to get around. They market this as the hotel strip where you can easily walk to neighboring properties for dinner or whatever, but that’s far from the truth. Everything is super far away, and the hotel is absolutely useless with helping arrange transportation.
The one good thing I’ll say is the staff at the restaurant were very lovely people and very attentive.

From the moment you arrive, you feel an instant connection to nature. This hotel is a true escape — not your typical Tulum party scene, but a peaceful retreat where you can disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with yourself and Mother Nature.
The glamping tents are luxurious and comfortable, complete with air conditioning — a perfect balance between nature and comfort. The food was fantastic, with a menu that’s mostly vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, crafted with care and intention. The drinks were excellent, and the experience wouldn’t have been the same without Wilber, Ivan, Francisco, Alexis, and Carlos — their warmth and impeccable service truly made our stay unforgettable.
The hotel also offers unique wellness experiences. I tried sound meditation for the first time, which was incredibly grounding. At sunset, there was a creative painting activity — a fun and relaxing way to express yourself while also meeting new people.
And don’t miss the Sunday beach club with an amazing DJ — the perfect way to enjoy the Tulum vibe in a more conscious, elevated setting.
Just keep in mind, you’ll be staying in a little jungle — so come with the right mindset. If you’re looking for relaxation, intention, connection, and a bit of adventure, this place is pure magic.

Wonderful
The facilities are amazing with small huts in a jungle atmosphere. The pool area is really nice with great views of the ocean. The food was also really good. It was also mostly calm & the included activities like yoga were really good. Also the massages (at high prices) were amazing.
The location is good with some restaurants & shops in ~5-10 mins walking distance, however, getting to the center (both city & beach) will require either a bike (rental ~10mins away) or taxi (rather expensive 500 MXP one way).
The staff was not too attentative (in the beginning) and it did take some time for orders to arrive. Also, there is a day party every Sunday.
They were building something right next to the hotel, so there was some noise & on our departure day they started really loud joint dancing/yoga-sessions - so the quietness might be over.

One of my favorite hotels in Tulum. I do appreciate how they really take care of the environment and protect the essence of nature. The staff is amazing, they will always be there for you and make sure you’re comfortable and happy. It’s a really cool experience overall. The only feedback is that I’ve noticed the space decaying a bit and lacking proper maintenance, specially being on the beachfront. Please do a little facelift to the exterior spaces like the restaurant and pool areas. Very good hotel overall. Thank you

Diego & his staff make you feel that you are home aurrounded by family. We loved their dedication, kindness & professionalism. The hotel is great. Beautifully designed. It offers a private sandy area withdirect to a superb beach. We had a room with a pool. Very relaxing. The Spa offers dedicated treatments not to be missed. At Moro you can have a tatsy breakfast. It also offers gret lunches & dinners. The hotel has a nice pool and a bar. It is very well locatrd between hotel zone, Tiulum Center and jaguar parc.
Nothing.

Amazing property especially also for community building if you travel alone. Such beautiful accomplishment and delicious food at Moro. Loved that breakfast was included and loved my view at the pool :)
It was a little out of the way and you needed a taxi to go out for dinners (unless you’d be renting a scooter)

The setting is lovely and tranquil! Staff were lovely. Breakfast and lunch food was great! Rooms were very cool! Beds very comfortable.
Our room was right near the club next door, music went all night and we could not sleep. Our room
Did not get cleaned by house keeping. Dinner was not very nice and was expensive. The beach is very very rocky, if you want a beach holiday I would not recommend.

The hotel was magical and such a nice vibe. The pool and beach area was really nice. You get immediately relax when stepping into the property, the restaurant and beach bar are very cozy.
Only negative part was the beach itself - it was quite small and not really possible to go swimming due to rocks and waves.
Be aware that you stay in tents. This is on one hand very cozy, but also not super convenient when the humidity is so high. We also had heavy rain one evening, and the water came into our tent. We personnel were however super helpful and gave us compensation for it.

the location is very nice, once it must have been a nice place. Unfortunately, now it is just infested with bugs and other vermin.
We had to leave immediately for hygienic reasons. The room smelled like cat pis enough to give us a headache. The beds were infested with bugs, there was no warm water, the rooms were not clean at all, the tents are full in fungus and mold. Not what one would expect for this budget. When we talked to the staff and later the manager, they only were minimising our complaints and not interested in finding a solution. we prepaid the whole week, and they refused any kind of refund, even if we had to leave immediately to avoid being bitten more by bugs or worse.

Pleasant
The venue is amazing. You feel like you're really in the jungle, next to the beach. Very nice spa. Although small meny, overall the food is good. Banana desert at dinner is a must!
Although the venue is amazing, the service level does not match the quality of the venue. It is a very strict hotel that follow its very rigid rules and where you don't have the feeling that the guests' best experience is the ultimate goal of the hotel. Simple requests, nothing extravagant (like a coffee in the morning), if not within the hotel rules, will not be accepted.
Also, we got a supposed upgrade to a villa with a pool... but it was so close to the street that we only heard cars and noise and completely lost the jungle feeling.
There is no coffee machine nor hairdryer in the rooms.
The hotel itself is quite small. A gym would be welcomed.
Also be prepared if you want to dive in the ocean, as the beach is very rocky and difficult to enter/leave the water.
