Location was beautiful and the included breakfast was excellent. The wait staff was also extremely friendly and attentive. The menu was somewhat limited but excellent in all respects including seafood.
Nothing not to like about this resort.

Our room, Encantada was one of the most beautiful rooms with sea view.
Sleeping with the sound of the waves is a wonderful experience. There is every comfort you will need in the room. Minibar prices are very reasonable.
It may be due to the season we went there, but even though our room was on the beach, we did not feel any discomfort with the sound of music.
We were very pleased with the breakfast. But the most valuable thing was the attention and helpfulness of the employees. Pau and Melissa from public relations supported us in every way and gave good restaurant recommendations. They prepared a takeaway (even gluten-free!) breakfast on our tour day. Provided yoga mat for our practices. In the evenings, Mario provides extremely polite and classy service. Omar also gives very detailed recipes. Daniel and Gaspar on the beach, William at breakfast and Jorge at the reception provided an extremely high-quality service. Thanks to all the staff, we definitely recommend it.
Restaurant-bar closing time could have been a little later.

We booked a two bedroom suite and it was beautiful, clean, very spacious and away from all the noise. The suite was called Casa Mandala and it is on the upper floor which we loved as it gave us a feeling of being in the middle of the jungle. The employees are very nice and accommodating. We loved the hotel restaurant above the beach and the beach itself with the beautiful cabanas.
The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that their beer selection was not the best.

The room and hotel location, close to the beach and in the middle of other places to visit like restaurants. We were happy they turned off the restaurant music off at 10:00 since our room was close by.
We thought the room rate was expensive compared to the condition of the room. The bathroom mirror was old and scratched. The bedside lamps were falling apart. The sliding door came off its track one of the days and we needed to wait for it to be repaired.

Location is very good; on a reasonably accessible part of the beach road.
Excellent beach location.
The food is ok, and no better. Average.
Service was ok but being pestered for cash tips rather than charging to room was irritating.

Concierge was fantastic, special thanks to Melissa who made our stay extra special - her time and effort, her warmth, all her help and recommendations were superb. She will be a great hotel manager!!
It needs some renovations, for the price it charges. Especially rooms. Breakfast choice should be better for those who dont eat eggs or local dishes.
Music was too loud on the beach during day. some like it quiet to the waves or listen to their own music on airpods.

I really being disappointed with their breakfast because I was thinking it should be self serving like all hotels but each person should choose only one dish which I didn’t like it I already told them that I’m not happy and they have a reasonable reason because it is a small boutique and they are avoiding of wasting which is very nice but they should 100% mention it and explain about their type of breakfast before people booking the place because if I know this before my reservation for sure I’m not reserving this place because breakfast is very important for me in trip and I like to enjoy and try pieces of everything.
The second things unfortunately the bedsheet was dirt.

We has a tropical storm and there was no please to sit and cover from the rain. All the places are open, een teh restaurants. We had to leave early because of the storm and we had for a coupon or credit for next time but htey said NO WAY

I stayed at this hotel with my daughter, just the two of us.
I live in Los Angeles, and I was so surprised to see the prices at the hotel for lunch—pizza or a burger cost $80-100 per person. It would be fine if it were delicious, but this price is for a small pizza or a plate of Bolognese pasta, and cocktails are $40-50 (even non-alcoholic ones).
We eat lightly, just once a day, but we couldn’t eat pasta, pizza, or burgers every day—it's not how I usually eat. And I must repeat, the food wasn’t tasty. Paying these prices as if we were dining at the best restaurants in Los Angeles is madness. In the end, the bill for 3 days with pizza, burgers, pasta, and cocktails was $1000.
We found a restaurant near our hotel that was very beautiful, with music and good staff, and we went there instead. We ate meat, fish, tacos, and drinks, and the total was $700 for 6 days.
I also want to add that the hotel advertises a "free" breakfast, but that’s not true—they charge you for everything you eat and then present you with options for a 15%, 18%, or 20% tip.
In the end, they bring you a breakfast bill for $80 but write "free" on the check and ask for a tip. I left $20-25.
The food was not tasty, overpriced, and there was nothing worth eating. The staff wasn’t very friendly either.
Also, I want to mention that the hotel rooms aren’t bad, but the beds are impossible to sleep on. Every morning I did some stretching, but my neck wouldn't move at all. My daughter had the same issue.

The rooms were phenomenal, staff was very helpful and it was a steps away from the beach.
We couldn't use the refrigerator because it was stocked with stuff you had to buy. Also more lighting in bathroom would've been nicer.

The place was amazing. We stayed in one of the oceanfront suites. Very cozy and private. If you're coming to visit and spend a lot of time away from the hotel, don't get this room. You won't want to leave it. It was right by the pool and you can go to sleep listening to the ocean. It's also right next to the restaurant.
My spouse had more of a problem with this, the lounge music coming from the pool is just behind your room. They had it turned off by 10p every night and we were usually already out for the day before ever hearing it turn on again. You do have to walk through the sand to get to the restaurant and if headed out for the day. So you kind of end every day sandy and begin everyday sandy. Not a big deal if you're accustomed to a beach vacation.

We got robbed by a hotel employee only 4 hours into our stay. She went into our room and stole all of our credit cards and cash from the SAFE. We left the very next day, when the hotel staff was unable to tell us what they were going to do to rectify the situation and kept saying they were “following protocol.” They claim to be refunding our money for our stay that we did not get to have, but we have yet to see the money.
