The location was perfect! The AC was cold which was a plus for me, because it was hot!

The art work & the outside pool area. Very clean.
No coffee until late morning. Only cups are styrofoam and thin plastic. My room had no window and had street noise & reception area noise.

Every there when the drug lord died at St Phillip de Jesus church. Stayed safe at hotel.
No regard for non smokers. No signs for smoking. Tables with umbrella were grabbed by smokers who also put towels on lounge chairs.

The wifi didnt work properly, the hotel was in the middle of a cartel take over of the town and we were hostage for 4 days

The pool was nice and large and good for swimming laps.
The room was nice and large. The first room that we had didn't have very good lighting. We thought that we had booked a room with a balcony but there wasn't one in our original room. The staff person was very nice and helped us upgrade to a room with a nice large terrace. There was only a small fee for the upgrade. It was much nicer and the lighting was better.
But there was cleanliness issue with the pool. There were people using the pool holding a baby in the water for hours. Was the baby wearing a swim diaper?
The lighting in the first room was not good. The main light didn't work and the bedside light was not very bright for reading. The TV in the first room did not work well.
The main issue for my partner was that the air conditioner for the room below us was located right outside our window. It was loud and vibrated our room. He found it hard to sleep with the noise.
Complimentary breakfast was merger.

convenient location, 400 meters to the beach, lots of shops and restaurants in 5 minutes walking distance. Stuff is very helpful, the price is totally fair.

Lovely space! As pictured! Nice to have breakfast available and included in our reservation (lots of fruit, Mexican baked goods, some eggs with a some meat mixed in). Also available for purchase. Very kind staff. Always very clean!
Location was about a 10min taxi ride from the Malecon and about 15min from the Zona Romantica. This was perfect for us but may be a bit far for people wanting to be in the action.
Our Internet didn't work in our room, so that was challenging. The pool area had excellent wifi so I'm not sure if it was just our specific room.
The other quirk is that you have to insert your room key into a special outlet thing to have the TV and most outlets work. We didn't realize this until after our second night when we asked. It also means no charging things (except in the bathroom) when you're out of your room with your key.

The location worked out very well for us. The rest of our family was staying at Dreams.
I thought the price of the room was to high given the size of the room and the little bathroom.
