The staff, hands down.
It was not kept up to the level I'd expect, and need s refresh. The ceilings in the main lounge/entry is lacking and signs are showing their years.

The location and the Staff was very nice and friendly
I couldn’t get a cocktail that I wanted because they didn’t restock it on their bars I had one and was the last of it and also I wanted a carajillo which is a coffee cocktail and they couldn’t make it because they had no coffee and this is at their main bar at the lobby,we have been going to this resort for 3 years first time was awesome second was ok and this time was not at all feels like the quality has gone down

They pressure you the time you arrive on a time share I didn’t like that and the food wasn’t that good and you had to dress up at some restaurants.
The pool was cold you couldn’t go in the ocean because there was a lot of rocks in there then the food wasn’t that good .

The food and service was wonderful. Very attentive staff and a large assortment of delicious restaurants and food options. I also loved my room and the bed/pillows were so comfortable.
It's very loud at all hours of the day and night. You can hear your neighbors through the walls even when they are speaking in a normal tone and you can also hear every footstep they take. They were doing a lot of construction so there was hammering and grinding throughout the day that was distracting and hard to relax through. The secrets and dreams side of the hotel lobbies have 2 distinct scents they push through vents and they are nauseating. I would hold my breath or only breathe through my mouth until I was far enough away from them

The first time we used the shower, the paint on the bathroom ceiling started peeling off and fell onto me, creating a mess throughout the bathroom.
The bathroom faucets were not functioning properly and were extremely noisy.

Great location. Perfect beach. Walk to downtown with lots of tourist shops and restaurants. Restaurants at the resort are all high quality with very nice staff. Bars and pools have great staff that will come to get drink orders all the time. The quality of the drinks is very good.
Noise from construction during our stay. It is temporary, probably.

Staff is amazing!
We had some noise next door that kept us up until 5 am. The hotel security tried to assist.
They should have been kicked off property. Hotel did make it right and give us points for our inconveniences
