Very Poor
Location
Outdated facilities, staff very rude, we got stuck in the elevator for over 30 minutes, called the property several times and no answer, had to bang on the door and scream for help until another guest heard us and they looked for help, maintenance guys didn’t know how to open the elevator, took them an additional 15 minutes to get us out,my wife and two daughters were in there with me

Poor
Location was good. Staff were great minus the front desk staff. The kept charging us extra because they made mistakes. It was an all-inclusive, which we ended up eating out for every meal because the food was not good. There was only one beer option. No light beer or Diet Pop. I would have drank anything Light, but that wasn’t even an option, so I had water the entire time from the hotel. We shouldn’t have to go out every meal because the food was bad. I also shouldn’t have to be going to the store to buy Diet Coke. We went to Walmart to buy snacks because their “Snack Bar” consisted of old chips with nasty orange nacho cheese.
No fridge in room. Asked if we could not do all-inclusive on the first day as we could tell we wouldn’t be eating the food. They said No.

Very Poor
The wait staff, bell hops and bard tenders were great.
The Check-In and Check-Out Process and staff were horrible, the worst of any resort that I have ever been to. Unfortunately, when things start and end on a horrible note it ruins the rest of the experience.

Very Good
Well organized and well run by staff. Good food, very clean pools,
Rooms smelled musty a bit as the week went on. Only one room key for a two person room. Beds weren’t the comfiest nor the pillows.

Location on the beach. Great beach walking. Location close enough to walk to the Malecon. A quiet pool option in addition to the activity pool. The trees and grass setting around the adult pool area. The low-rise layout of the buildings.
Air conditioner in our room was extremely noisy. No way we could run it at night because it would be impossible to sleep. Sliding glass door to balcony did not lock. Check-in staff seemed unfriendly at check-in and check out.

Lovely hotel with a great vibe. We loved the design and decor. We loved our room, but we lucked out big time. Our friends staying there with us got a horrible room with 2 small windows that barely opened.
Staff were all very friendly, kind and helpful. Every single employee we encountered was fantastic.
Pools could be way cleaner. Many times I didn’t want to get in. Same with the hot tub. Need more lounge chairs for the beach. Witnessed a fair few guests getting angry at employees for not having lounge chairs available. It was awful to see.

Disappointing
The views from the deck, the location being beach front
The rooms had a musty mouldy smell

Variety of food was limited. We had only one electrical outlet beside our bed, difficult to plug in our cpap breathing machines.

Exceptional
The service was above and beyond. Super friendly. I loved the ease of the all inclusiveness. The activities and entertainment were great and it all added a special feel to our stay.
The rooms were clean and tidy. Exceptional for the age of the establishment.
Everything was close by; the pools, the beach, the restaurant. I liked that there were 3 options for eating.
Many of the food options were great. I liked the hamburgers and hot dogs. The buffet was extensive and displayed beautifully. And the people working in thy buffet were kind and polite.
The hot chocolate was amazing as well.
A big thank you to Nacho who we met at the front. He was friendly, full of personality, and engaging. He made some great first impressions for las palmas.
Some of the food offerings didn't line up with the rest of the quality of the establishment. The chicken nuggets and taquitos were cold and hard.
While we liked the buffet overall, some of the dishes were lacklustre.

Fair
The easy access to the beach.
The smell coming from the river just beside the building. There was a river without opening to the sea. The water was stagnant and smelly. I needed to ask for a different room because of the smell. That was always there

The access to the beach was good.
It was beside a river that was smelly. I received the room 449 that was terrible. The view was to a parking lot. The smell from the river was terrible. We needed to ask to change to another room and we paid the room difference. The room outlets were hard to access.

Poolside activities were great. Food was excellent.
As soon as you checked out the hotel cuts you off of everything, you can no longer use the facilities for anything. Also didn’t appreciate that the hot tub was part of the adult only pool area and didn’t allow my older teens to enter.
Secondly, booking.com screwed up my online reservation and had to pay on site for the additional people part of my reservation. My fault to for not checking the confirmation but I placed my trust in booking.com website. This has happened twice and will no longer use it for further reservations.

It is a good location and facilities we’re good
The receptionist was really rude at the check in. I don’t know if he was tired or something but he didn’t explain anything about how the resort works to first time guests. It looked like he was making me a favor for checking us in.
When I complained about his attitude to his co-workers they said: “he is our manager, he is like that”
Poor answer!

Very Poor
This hotel was not only dirty but the fact that 2 adults and a 6 year old a 9 year old and a 14 year old was going to apparently fit on a 2 DOUBLE bed. I asked for a balcony before I booked and said yes there will be one available for us. I get there and NO BALCONY just a view of a dirty windows If I had known that I wouldn’t have booked it. I canceled my stay the day of and then they said they have now have a balcony available for us I refused because why couldn’t I get that when it was requested in the first place but after canceling the day of at the location they said I would have to pay a cancellation fee which I was ok with. 3 months later I still have not received no refund and lost 2 thousand dollars to this hotel. Never again!!!
