To really enjoy this place you will have to come when is fully open. Even though we went during the high season part of the hotel was shut down. Some restaurants closed. Bars at night all closed, the bar at the pool closes around 4-5pm when you have sunlight until 7pm. Nothing to eat between 5-6pm not even snacks. The room service wasn’t operating. This is a big disappointments for a resort of this type. It seems you are only able to enjoy when the hotel is fully open otherwise you are screw.

We overall still had a great time but these are things I wish I would have known before booking. First, our room was so musty and damp from the minute we got there and the entire room could really use a deep clean. There was what looked to be stains on the headboard and lamps and overall just did not feel the cleanest. The hotel itself was pretty clean but just needs some updates done. The food situation was kind of frustrating for being all inclusive and on a vacation. If you want room service, expect it’ll take at least 1.5 hours no matter what time of day. If you want to eat at a restaurant then you need to make the reservation basically a day before to get the time slot and restaurant you want for the next evening. This was annoying to have to think about while on vacation like what time tomorrow do I want dinner and what type of food will I want. If you don’t make a reservation then you’ll be stuck eating at the buffet. The buffet was the only option for breakfast and all of the options were pretty much cold and just random. You couldn’t really just stop and grab a sandwich or snack anywhere which is why I think they had the 24/7 room service but who wants to wait 1.5 hours for limited options. Another issue was it says on the signs by the pool that you are not to reserve lounge chairs but yet every morning before towels are even available (8AM) almost every single seat in the pool area was “reserved” with someone’s towels or belongings but yet no one was at the pool. Most chairs stayed like that throughout the day too so what I’d tell you is take towels the night before to be able to claim your seats at the crack of dawn the next morning. Like I noted, we had a wonderful time and didn’t let these things ruin our vacation but just things I would have wanted to know and likely won’t re-book due to them.

Everything was perfect

Horrible musty moldy smell in room. Poor variety of snacks and drinks in the room. Shortage of towels in the room. Floors not swept and vacuumed daily. Not enough American tv shows. No regular coffee maker. Poor beach and pool area. No sun til noon.

The noise from partying on the upper deck on one evening was excessive but did cease at 10 pm. Also because our enclave upgrade was a late addition we had the last room too close to the upper deck adults only bar

The rooms were very damp and it created a moldy smell on clothing and linens for the bed. With the air conditioning going fully the whole time and door kept closed the thermostat still showed humidity of 90-98% .

The reservations for dinner was not easy on the app, even if you got on right away you still could never make a reservation and we only had two people

Food was ok, not great. We had 2 rooms- a suite on the 6th floor with access to the enclave lounge and a king room on the 4th floor. The suite was very good but the 4th floor room had a lot of issues - badly designed shower that flooded the whole bathroom anytime someone took a shower, no exhaust in the baths, and extremely noisy and disruptive at night.

Bad service staff …not give me any information or directions the staff always so fussy…not really good entertainment… sad because we expecting more for what we paid .. we are a big family reunion!!!

I didn’t like how short the activities were and how early everything shut down. It advertises dancing and karaoke but the dancing was for one hour one night, and the karaoke was one hour one night. So it shuts down at 10 when people are just getting into it. I am a foodie, I thought the food was just ok. We liked the Asian place the best.

I like the size of the room. The food was great. The view was awesome.

The food used to be much better. It was only average or fair on this trip. The Mexican restaurant, El Maxal, had the best food!
