The view was 10/10. It’s a quiet hotel.
The food and drinks were awful. Even something as simple as toast and fruit tasted bad. We ended up spending most of our time away from the hotel just to find decent food and drinks elsewhere. Also, the website advertises a lobby bar, but there isn’t one. If that amenity isn’t ready yet, it probably shouldn’t be advertised.

This is clearly an older property. The rooms are almost as originally constructed. Old closets. Kitchen is old too. It was way overbooked the weekend we were there.

Love the location and staff. We were there when the fires happened and the staff were just amazing!
The rooms were inconsistent. Electrical outlets in our first room were by each side of the bed but the second were old outlets and across the room. It made it challenging for our cpap machines.

The 2 BR suite was roomy, had a functional kitchen, dining room and living room space, and fantastic balcony space with a great view. Access to public transportation on city buses was economical (10 pesos) and easy. The small store on site was surprisingly well stocked, in terms of variety of food, clothing & supplies available. The hotel also helped make arrangements for laundry service for us - very convenient. Location was great (10/10), as was the beach access.
Furnishings / decor a little dated, but functional. There are many long-term residents who do not relinquish seats around the pools easily. There is a bit of a two-tier system in place - some folks are on a plan like an all-inclusive, while others are staying short term like a hotel. It was confusing for the staff when dining at the restaurant, etc. Restaurant food was decent but higher price for the convenience.

never enough pool or beach seating. seems like everytime we went down the areas were full of ppl even at 11am. The “quiet” pool was full of screaming children & loud adults. So there was no “quiet” area. The food was meh. I found a few items on the menu that were tasty such as the burger of which I hardly ever eat. The pizza was pretty good. Basically if it was junk food it was alright. The seafood was bland. The Caesar salad didnt even have dressing on it , I had to ask for it. So the restaurant and even the bar (mimosas were good, pina colada just horrible) needs some improvements.
the room was very nice. the view amazing. the bed comfortable. the spa was lovely. i recommend the body scrub, deep tissue massage and facial package- the tiny masseuse has strong hands and was an expert- I wish I could remember her name. the common areas just needed some improvements.

Microwave was indicated in the promo materials and missing. Beach was more rocky than sandy. High tide prevented use of beach and some activities.

The view, the lagoon and size of the Studio we stayed in.
We were able to see big manta rays swimming by the resort from our balcony. The view makes up for any issues with the door lock
The door locks were a little bit of a pain. They runs off batteries. We were there for the month of Feb and batteries had to be changed 3 times.
The microwave placement was hard to get to. You have to open the freezer door before you can open the microwave door.

Every Room has ocean view and balcony. Hotel beach area was private, easy to access, and relaxing. We enjoyed swimming laps along the protected shoreline. There are some fish along the rocks that protect the beach so it's an easy spot to snorkel. Our room had a kitchenette, which was nice to have. The resort has an on-site store, which is well stocked and has reasonable prices.
Resort is only 5 minute Uber ride to the edge of town, but you can't walk as the road is too narrow. Room had coffee maker, but resort did not provide coffee on a daily basis --- we were told to buy coffee from the onsite store. When we were there, the WIFI and cable TV did not work adequately (this may be related to the cartel attack that happened during our trip).
