Location was a disaster. Steep steps to get anywhere. Not possible for older people to walk anywhere from the property.
Location. And no supplies in the house. Hardly any towels

The facilities did not match what was advertised on Booking.com
The accommodations were dated, hot tub was not working and was cold. The decor accessories were broken, a number dishes were broken, the safe was broken and not secured to anything and could be walked away with. The trail to the Malecón was dangerous with only a few actual steps and the alternative to walking on the road was very long walk and no lighting at night.
The manager was very dismissive to clients.

Property Manager Oscar was great! Very accommodating! Answered all our questions quickly! Just a lovely man!
The beds…it was a double bed on a queen size frame. Not comfortable at all…the 2 single beds in the spare room are very hard and uncomfortable..
The washer wasn’t working properly before we got there, but maintenance fixed it within a few days.

The shower was good. It has a washer and dryer in the apartment.
The location is far away from everything. 325 stairs plus a long, extremely steep hill to get down to town. It was so remote, we had to show the cab drivers how to get there.
Our apartment was on the bottom floor. The entrance is 5 flights up. While it said there was an elevator, the elevator was not working and clearly hadn’t been working for some time. So, we had to climb 5 flights of stairs every time we went out.
It said we had a city view and ocean view. All of the apartments on the other floors had views. We did not. We saw the pool and the pool guy every morning. (See photo of our “view”.
The apartment was dirty, and smelled moldy.
There were no screens, so we could not open doors or windows because of mosquitos.
And, worst of all, there were scorpions in our apartment and my husband got stung by one that was in the couch. We had to go to the hospital where they gave him anti-venom.
Neither the pool or the jacuzzi were heated and they were COLD!
The neighbors upstairs played LOUD music ALL day and well into the night for 2 days straight.

The suite was large and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen.
The pool lounge chairs were so uncomfortable we couldn’t stay in one more than a few minutes.

Rooms were large. Pool was on the same level, just outside our patio. Kitchen was well equipped. Great air conditioning. We had everything we needed for the week .
Location was not exceptional but 20 minutes to walk to the Malecon in the morning. By evening we called Uber for a ride home.

Awesome view of the city. Large windows to enjoy the view of the ocean and city. Cute apartment is spacious and clean. The two bathrooms are convenient for groups. 15 minute walk to the boardwalk via stairs.
The location of the apartment is at the top of the hill overlooking the city. Taxi drivers had a difficult time finding the apartment. There are stairs and a very steep hill to climb up from the boardwalk if you want to walk.

Liked PV in general.
The apartment was old and tired. 15 minutes to the Malecon was mor or less true but you better be in good condition. Down {approx. 300+ ft} was doable on stone cobbled and dirt/gravel streets but plan on taking a taxi back unless you are young and in great shape.

Kitchen was well equipped
The map they sent us led to a dead end road, then we were told to go a different way and were led to a gravel dirt road that was not passable, finally the owner stayed on the phone and we found it, took over an hr because of poor directions. Also there was no drinking water left for us and in Mexico you can’t drink from the faucet. Everyplace I have stayed offers drinking water. This place is out of the way and we had to get in the car again and try to find some water to buy. The a/c in the bedroom
Didn’t work well either

We had a difficult finding any room to rent in PV. It was a special event weekend, and we didnot make our reservation until right before we arrived. The condo building was way up a mountain, on a bumpy dirt road. We walked into town one time, but it was not an easy walk. And since I room was on the very bottom floor, there was no view.

The view of the ocean and jungle.
The jacuzzi wasn't a jacuzzi but a small pool, there wasn't 2 actual twin beds as shown in the pictures and there wasn't at least the basic kitchen items like salt, pepper, sugar. The master bedroom's air conditioner wasn't working. The roosters took a little bit to get used to. The drive to the condo was treacherous due to recent construction making it very difficult for taxis & uber drivers.
