Navigating to different venues on the property is confusing for new guests. It creates enough frustration that can make you question if the price is really worth it. This first impression is forgiven after a day when you’ve learned the crazy routes from the tower to other venues.

I liked everything

everything was great. No real negatives.

HVAC units outside the corridor, noisy close to 80db, needed ear plugs to be able to sleep. Avoid rooms from xx08 to xx15. Manager not friendly and confirmed by other guests, some had the chance to switch rooms. too com-plicated for him to change my room during my long stay after a busy week-end. All People who had partial ocean view had noisy HVAC units outside on corridor. Booking.com special rate mean not the proper room. I spent over 50€ to reach customer service by phone in UK to complain about my room and they did nothing. Expect to be harassed every evening leaving hotel by drug dealers and massage "experts"... S

The huge room was furnished with one plastic chair so there was nowhere to sit other than the bed or a marble bench. We mentioned this to the staff and got no response. Other fantastic spot.

Checkin rules felt like signing my life away - think I signed/initialled more times to check in here than when I last bought a house. Charging for coffee capsules in the rooms is pretty rare these days and was quite a surprise. Providing some water coolers could really reduce plastic use.

When we arrived at check in we were sat down to be pressured into a breakfast for a time share presentation. This was before even seeing our room or the resort. That’s the last thing we want when arriving for a few days away. We declined 3 times before they accepted ‘no’. The prices for food and drinks on property were highly inflated. No problem paying a bit more for the experience and convenience but we ended up walking 5 mins off property to get drinks and food at much more reasonable prices. The value was just not there. So we can’t really comment on food or drink quality. The music coming from Mantamar and Blue chairs resort was loud and thumping in the afternoon and evening. We could hear the thumping clearly in our oceanview room on the 11th floor with the doors closed. Wasn’t overly relaxing. We likely wouldn’t stay here again and instead go Tryst or get an ABNB in the area closer to the bars and restaurants. Glad it was only a 3 night stay.

I would have liked more drawer/storage space for clothes. There was also no area to put the luggage away so it took up some space in the room. Be forewarned, the hard sell for this timeshare property is strong. Actually, it went on for a few days and became annoying. I had to be stern (but not rude) and tell the staff we weren't interested. I was warned beforehand by friends but it was still annoying. After a few days they gave up. When sitting on the beach, be prepared to be bombarded constantly by men and women wanting to sell you stuff. It's a public beach so the resort can't do anything about it. If you're looking for complete bliss and quiet, this won't be it. The DJ playing at the resort gives a good vibe but it may not be for everyone.

Not enough water provided in rooms. We had to buy large bottles of water to drink and use in the in room coffee machine.

The staff will attempt to charge you for things you’ve already paid for. They will also pit themselves a automatic tip

Customer service

Our room (904) television set had a very complicated and difficult connection with streaming and even took time to solve for staff. Surely a system should be straight forward with clear multi lingual instructions.

Was scammed at check out over using k-cups on a Kurtis that didn’t was charged for them and not allowed to leave without paying for them. No where was it posted that you had to pay for coffee in the room and being charged when the coffee maker didn’t work was petty at best,

We weren’t very happy with how we were received at the front desk when we arrived at the hotel. We got in late at night, tired from the trip, and found out they couldn’t see our payment for the reservation. We had to explain everything, show proof of the charge on our bank account, and even forward them the payment confirmation by email. Of course, it wasn’t a huge problem, but it left a bad first impression. After that, we were placed in a room located in the older building. Honestly, the room wasn’t great. While it was spacious with a large bathroom area, a mirror, and good lighting, the overall feel of the room wasn’t very cozy. The floor seemed dirty — walking barefoot, you could feel grime under your feet. We had to repeatedly ask housekeeping to change our towels and clean the floor more thoroughly. The day after check-in, it was obvious the floor hadn’t been cleaned, so we had to find a housekeeper in the hallway and ask for a proper cleaning. Most importantly, there was ongoing construction in the old building. Starting at 8:30 a.m., we could hear constant noise from drills and hammers, which made it really hard to rest. We asked to be moved to another room farther from the noise, but at first, they refused, saying we had been warned about the construction. However, when we booked, the notice said the construction would last until December 2023 — it’s now 2025, so that warning is clearly outdated. Eventually, they moved us to the new building, where we got a beautiful view and a very nice, comfortable room — for that, we’re genuinely grateful. So, when checking in, make sure to ask which building you’ll be staying in.

We seriously sat down and tried to think of anything we could find wrong with this resort and there was nothing negative that we could come up with.

Humidity , But that was not under their control ! lol

The breakfast to slow service and bad quality

Room cleaning service is forgetful on replacing towels other than that they do clean your rooms if you have the hangar out to clean it.
