I really liked that. The property was secure with a gate that you scanning, and it also had a covered parking garage with the Scanner as well. The staff is also so very friendly. And the room was big and clean. The location was perfect.

Location is great and the room is spacious
There was a foul smell in the apartment that smelled like sewage. We called to complain and ask for a solution and, after an employee checked it was *really* bad, they temporarily moved us to another room– and not to another permanent room as would make more sense. We had to deliver the key to the temporary room at the reception (which is not in property) before we caught the early ferry to Cozumel. At noon, we got a message it was fixed and it was not: we went into the room to find a milder but still very present bad smell. Maintenance folks incidentally told us the sewage smell "sometimes happen".
They finally moved us to a different unit, on the other side of the property. That smelled decent, but we found a cockroach by the shower, and plenty bathroom flies.
We had to spend ~5h dealing with hotel personnel, moving and all – precious time when you are on needed and insufficient vacations. The main person as desk couldn't care less, but his peers tried to help. We ended up losing time, and got absolutely no reparation for all the issues the hotel caused.
This was a horrible experience and no one should choose this hotel. For short: foul smell, cockroach in the shower, flies and employee at the desk who couldn't care less.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the rooms and the outside were exactly like the pictures on the web. The Wi-Fi was excellent which is always a challenge in Mexico and the staff was super friendly. The room was comfortable and clean and at a perfect price point. We will definitely be coming back to stay within this hotel group again.
We travelled together as a family three different times this year and found that very , very few places look like they do online or are as described but we finally found one that was an outstanding match!

Great location, no need for a car to walk around and get to the beach. Lots of nearby good restaurants. The suite was very spacious and well maintained.
Not a big deal but the pool was kind of weirdly situated on the property and if anyone was swimming in it, you'd likely get wet walking to you room. But absolutely not a big deal at all.

The location is PERFECT! It was clean, quiet, and we were very comfortable there. There is a “pool” but we didn’t use it.
Upon arrival, there was no power. Not their fault, as the whole town was blacked out. But after 9 hours of no power, in MX heat, it gets HOT and it was pitch black in the room once the sun went down. I wish the hotel had accommodations for this (fans, flashlights, something).

Wonderful
between beach and quinta avenue, so exactly in the sweet spot. 2 nice pools, garage for the car, towels for the pools & beach. We had the apartment at ground floor, 2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen & the private jacuzzi!
minor detail but the boys at the associated beachclub maybe.
Waiters there weren't sharp at all, 2 wrong orders in 2 days and still demanding 20% tip afterwards.

There was a club nearby where the music was pumping all night. Very loud.

We had a great time at The Maya Villa Condo. Good location. Close to everything but still quiet. Only had one night when we heard dancing club noise, but it was a Saturday and was tolerable. The staff was great and super helpful. Condo was clean and comfortable. The pool is small but refreshing. We were able to use the sister property pools with our wristband, so that was a nice option. Quick walk to the beach. Spent one day at Mamitas Beach club, which was a fun day. Good restaurants. Walk to El Fogon for legit great Mexican food.

We loved the location. The more you are in Playa the more you realize the location is perfect. Close to all the fun and shopping all within a quick walk. Far enough away that you don’t have the noise. The property was well cared for. The gardens were beautiful and surround you making it feel like a paradise. Pools were clean and warm. Restaurant was delicious priced a little high but it is fresh seafood. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. House keeping did a great job. Beaches were ok but had a lot of seaweed rolling in and they were actively cleaning it up. We were told they are not usually like that. Easy walk to the marina to take ferry to Cozumel. Beaches at Cozumel were beautiful. The Bell boy walks you through your condo and gives good instructions for everything you need to know.
The only small complaint would be our hot tub on the roof top did not have a cover and did get dirty from the wind blowing stuff in. This did not really affect us to much because we enjoyed the hot tub by the pool.

The hotel is fabulous ? It feels very private. Our appartment was huge and very well equipped (even iron and lot of hangers for clothing). Location is spot on. It's just next to the busy Quinta Avenida but we didn't hear any noises. We absolutely loved it and will come back for 100% ❤

Lovely attractive place, we went for the condo/jacuzzi option. Large area and bedrooms overall very pleased with the property. Just a couple minutes walk to 5th Avenue.
