The beach, staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, room and Italian restaurant were excellent
The Japanese restaurant has degraded in the 3 years since we last visited. They used a cheap grade of meat and the theatrics were to a minimum. The buffet at times was excellent but inconsistent on other times.

This all inclusive resort was fabulous. From the staff at the front desk to the wait staff, the cleaning staff and groundskeepers all do a wonderful job! The food was great, the drinks delicious, the pools warm and the ocean was crystal clear. We all loved our stay!
It would be nice to have a bit more shade at the main pool.

The big benefit : Very nice hotel grounds : tropical forest with animals; nicew long beach
Hotel maintenance : No hot water in the room ( was fixed fter complains); bad air condition " was not fixed during our styay; burned electric bulbs and all of this is in the best room : ocean access suit

We loved how close we were to the beach and the natural feel of the resort—seeing the animals and forestry was a nice touch. There was always something to do, from tennis and archery to the marine activities, and the adult entertainment was fantastic. The food was also a win; everything we ate was high quality with plenty of different dishes to try.
Despite paying for my reservation in full via Booking.com, the resort had no record of my booking upon arrival. This major communication failure forced me to spend precious vacation time coordinating between customer service agents and hotel staff. While the hotel provided temporary housing, the administrative error ultimately cost me an additional $1,000 beyond the original quote. Regarding the stay itself: the food quality was excellent, though restaurant reservations were nearly impossible to secure, making the buffet a more efficient choice. The kids' entertainment was adequate but lacked the variety needed to keep them fully engaged.

Pool is very deep not a good way to relax, reservations are required for dinner yet everything is booked so didn’t get a chance to enjoy much but the buffet, food is the same everyday! Options are limited

I loved the lush greenery, the presence of animals, and the close connection with nature. The staff seemed genuinely happy, and it showed in their demeanor, making the whole experience feel warm and wholesome. I also felt like I was getting a glimpse into their local culture, which made the stay even more special.
The air conditioning could be improved, especially in the rooms. It would also help to have better fans in the lobby, seating areas, and restaurants for more comfort. Additionally, more frequent cleaning of mossy areas would make the outdoor spaces feel fresher.

The resort is stunning- animals everywhere (monkeys, coatis, agouti, monkeys, peacocks, iguanas), gorgeous plants, decor, and felt very open and not crowded at all. The food was also amazing- so many options, it would be impossible not to find something you like at each buffet and restaurant. The beach was beautiful (minus the seaweed- but we knew about this before and it is out of their control), and the proximity to Cozumel was perfect to go snorkeling one day. The staff at the hotel were all so nice and attentive.
It was advertised we would have two queen beds- but they were full size- so it was a tighter squeeze than we expected. The room was a bit hot for us (71 was the lowest it would go), but we made it work.
