nothing about the accommodation but wandering around the historic buildings was interesting.
We knew the room was going to be small but there was no where to put suitcases. There was nowhere to hang a towel to dry. The one window had a broken blind so could not be moved up or down easily. There is no hot water in the sink tap so my partner was unable to shave. You had to hold the tap on with one hand while trying to wash the other and it gushed out. There was no control over the speed the water came out. There were no sockets near the bed for charging the phone, although it was advertised that there was. It was in a location surrounded by street hawkers making it difficult to move around and after they finished their day, they left a mountain of rubbish everywhere, which did not get cleaned up until just before they came back the next day :-(

Location was great very close to the zócalo.
It can get noisy because its in the middle of street vendors. The street vendors are removed by 5pm.

if there are any event in the Zocalo all the streets around the Hotel will be close and you will have to walk with your heavy luggage .

Great location, clean rooms, friendly non English speaking staff. Nice welcome on arrival. Entrance seemed secure. Lovely traditional rooms, not a chain hotel. Nice rooftop terrace.
We reported a female knocking at our door at 0320 but disappointed no apology or explanation given.

Very convenient location for those interested in the historic city center. The property is very clean, the rooms are clean and recently renovated, and the shower and toilet facilities make a very good impression. I especially appreciated the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff.
On the downside, the sound insulation is weak. Loud noises inside the building and from the street can disturb your sleep at night. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs ?

The staff were nice.
The room was tiny, I had nowhere to put my case, the WiFi didn’t work at night. The room was clean but the sheets smelled strongly of bleach
