Great location. Upper floors looking north have great view. Opening windows to patio. Nice pillows and bedding. Wall details in room. Large size. Toiletries and bottled water.
Bathroom needs refreshing. No stopper for sink. Rather dated furniture. Poor room lighting. Lack of daily bar offerings. No English spoken by reception staff. WiFi kept cutting out away from the corridor.

Staff was helpful in every way: room cleaner, maintenance (re hot water in bathroom), front desk (re leaving valuables in the safe there; checking in and checking out). Wi-fi worked fine. Taxi stand available across the street from the hotel entrance.
No telephone in room -- not important, but unusual. Hot water was originally available, then failed in our bathroom sink & shower (not in other rooms). Maintenance staff came quickly and fixed the problem -- & the hot water reappeared for about 12 hours. Then failed again. The availability of hot water is rather basic. No obvious temperature control. Fortunately, the ambient temperature in Guadalajara at night was not a problem in February. Still... No in-room safe, although there was a safe available behind the front desk. An in-room safe is much more convenient, and it's much easier to remove and insert items during one's stay. Had asked for a quiet room, which was acknowledged in advance by the hotel. However, we were given a room overlooking a busy side-street. That street was busy until about 2 a.m. The hotel was far from full in February, and the hotel could have done better. We didn't get excited or ask for a room change because our entire stay was short.
