An attractive pleasant space to spend time in.
We specifically chose this hotel in order to use the pool. However the water was ice cold, clearly unheated. No one was able to swim in the spool, including other guests who we saw try to do so. The hot tub was not hot enough, and this resulted in a slippery feeling, likely due to buildup of algae. I saw maintenance workers treating this. But frankly, the heat of the water is the problem. This could actually be dangerous. The effect of the cold pool was that children and their toys used the hot tub daily, making it unsuitable for adults.

The Hotel was clean and beautiful. We had a wonderful stay. We loved the captain in the restaurant. The entire staff was super attentive

My husband and I used to stay here for a week, once a year for vacation. It was very classy and the food was marvelous. The rooms were comfortable. I liked the cleanliness of the room and the staff were wonderful.
I think the food could be better for the price. There are much better options for food surrounding the Mendoza. There was no chair in the room for someone to sit in. The lobby does not look as beautiful as in the past.

Very close to the Squares, museums, churches in the Centro. Great restaurant. Good value for the money.
Room was dated. Could use new flooring. The cheap laminate is showing its wear. It is not commercial grade.

Location in the historic centre of Guadalajara. This is an older hotel with lots of history with spectacular churches, theatres, etc. in the neighborhood
