The location was good. Not far from the center and in a very traditional and old neighborhood. I loved that you could see the real life of a normal area of the city in spite of being so close to the touristic areas.
It was horrible! In this hotel they celebrate a St Valentine´s concert with candlelights every year so I thought it was a good idea to stay there, this was the main reason to choose this hotel. I had a reservation for three nights and because a last minute change I needed to stay one more night. I contacted them and I never had an anwer. I took the risk and went there. They gave me a room although was not the one I reserved for the following three nights. I understand that but not the silence. Both rooms we stayed in were filthy. We could not walk barefoot otherwise our feet got black. Towels were worn out and torn. I reserved a room with a balcony I never got. The windows could not close well and the noise from the traffic outside was terrible. If you want to attend this concert, buy a ticket for it, do not stay here, this is my sad conclusion!

If you are booking this hotel for the Candlelight experience it is the best option. We did not have to stand in the line to get in as we had a room key. We were able to watch the performance from the balcony just outside our room. It was perfect.

We stayed in the 2nd floor corner room and when buses or large vehicles passed, there was a slight tremble. Also, there appears to be a roof leak so some of the ceiling paint was peeling and there appears to be mold in some areas of the bathroom ceiling.

The staff was nice and the place was big me beautiful
The bed sheets were dirty, there was small hairs and bit of dirt, as if someone had slept in the bed before us. I was disgusted. Also I was offered no help taking my luggage up 3 flights of stairs even though I am a mom traveling with a small kid, I would have given a tip.
