Very pretty hotel and lovely garden. Staff were great.
Breakfast wasn't quite what it was advertised as. But having stayed in Malawi for 7 weeks I understand how challenging it is for hotels to provide. Just need to say it from the start.
Probably expensive for what it was.

The staff were excellent and very helpful, especially Joseph, in the restaurant.
When the power went out after dark, it would be nice to have a battery light for walking back and forth to reception and to the parts of the suite without generator power, like the bathroom.
In the suite with a second floor bedroom, it would be nice to have a second fan.
The airport shuttle was very expensive.

Facilities are a little bit dated, pool water looked murky, had a lot of mosquitoes and needed to use spray in evenings. Very limited options too on television, which did not have clear pictures

Staff is absolutely lovely and external areas are pleasant.
The rooms (not just mine) have very limited natural lighting (no direct sunlight comes in). Because of this, my room was not only dark but also quite damp (triggered my rhinitis). The breakfast – and the food in general – was also quite poor. Cleaning could also be much better (both in the room and external grads, including the pool).

Africa House is very conveniently located just off the main road leading to the airport. It's very quiet and they have ample parking space. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. I skipped breakfast as I left very early but I did have dinner which was fine.
When there are power cuts there's a generator to provide light but unfortunately there's not enough waterpressure for the shower.
