Disappointing
Only the location was good.
The management was very poor. I booked a standard double room. Once I reached the hotel they provided me with a single room.

Well they have a complimentary breakfast, which is good, the hotel is just near the beach so we liked it.
There was a tv in our room, but no channels available, the Wi-Fi service is not so good.

Prime location. Next to the beach and plenty of restaurants around
I had a very disappointing experience regarding payment at this hotel in Hulhumalé.
My Booking.com reservation total was USD 82. However, when I arrived, the hotel insisted that payment must be made in US dollars only. When I said I would pay in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), they applied their own exchange rate of USD 1 = MVR 20, instead of the official government rate at the time, which was USD 1 = MVR 15.42.
As a result, I was forced to pay MVR 1,640 instead of the correct MVR 1,264.44, meaning I was overcharged significantly.
I raised this issue with the receptionist, who contacted the manager, but I was told that the hotel only accepts USD payments, which does not make sense given that MVR is the local legal currency. Applying an inflated, unofficial exchange rate feels unfair and misleading.
Guests should be clearly informed about this policy before booking. I would not recommend this hotel based on this experience.

Even breakfast as well, yeah understand they say open at 7:30 and I was checking out at 4:30 am
I pay for that but I not got good service enough during my stay.
Special for the AC is not working and I really so tired after long trip and I choose your hotel for my rest time but it’s out of my expectations.

Faysel from Express Inn in Hulhumalé provided us with excellent service at every moment. From the moment we arrived, Jassa, Faysel, and the ladies helped us with cleaning the rooms, preparing the breakfast, serving delicious mocktails, and offering tasty Indian dishes they make themselves.
The location was perfect, close to the beach and many nice restaurants.
There was some disturbance due to construction work, but they had informed us about it in advance. They are currently upgrading the building with a lift and a rooftop terrace.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Location - right next to beach and several restaurants, Bed was Comfortable, Bathroom was pretty clean.
The breakfast was plain. The service was under standard. Keep in mind that when you book the hotel, your card information will be stored. But they will only allow you to pay cash at the hotel. Payment with credit card can be done with a 5% charge.

Location, there are so many shops around.
Two male staff in the reception on my check in day, were so impolite and when my card couldn’t work I could tell they were irritated and not even that much patient. No smiling or nothing. So unprofessional!!!
The guy that “supposed” to give me a tour of the room and explain a bit how everything works, dropped the luggage in front of the door and left saying in a really rude way: “THAT’S YOUR ROOM” by just pointing and then left.
He didn’t explain anything about: WiFi, check in/check out timing, breakfast timing ecc…. Where in other hotels with the same pricing they give you an exceptional service.
So disappointing.

The hotel is still under construction, no privacy whatsoever, they should keep the hotel closed until they are finished with construction. Scaffoldings were blocking the view, we got sea view room and scaffolding was blocking it, the constructions workers were working on those and could see our room and toilet now privacy

There’s no telephone in the room, and if you need something, you need to go down to the receptionist and ask them. No tissue refilling; the staff is unpleasant. Only 1 waiter from Nepal was kind. For the amount of money, you can find a better hotel with good service and value for customers.
Exactly before 12.00 PM, someone knocked on my door and asked to check out as soon as possible in a rude way.
You need to bring cash with you because at restaurants they only receive cash.
