This is a very small resort, which makes it feel private and peaceful. The service is truly guest-focused. We had an amazing manager, Alma, who spoke our native language and took care of anything we needed within minutes.
For example, we mentioned that we wanted to order binoculars and asked if she could help us, and Alma immediately offered to arrange a delivery all the way from Malé to the island. In the end, we didn’t go through with it since the binoculars wouldn’t have arrived before we left, but the fact that she was ready to make it happen meant so much. It really showed how far they’re willing to go to make your stay special.
Very night they switch up the dinner theme — from Arabic and Indian to Italian and Maldivian - so it never gets boring. At the same time, there are always some classic comfort food options if you’re not in the mood to experiment.

I stayed at Fushifari Maldives in July and also got engaged there. By all accounts, it was the most incredible resort experience I’ve ever had. A few things truly stood out:
Bespoke service: The team went above and beyond to make my proposal unforgettable. They even worked tirelessly on the day to fine-tune the setup. A special shoutout to Lamha for this!
Genuine amazing service: Every night at the buffet restaurant, we essentially had our own personal waiter, and our butler Diksha was amazing. At other resorts I stayed, the butler and wait staff where more strectched as they had to cover a large volume of people (making service much poorer), but that wasn't the case here.
Intimate island: The smaller size of the island creates a true “retreat” feel - a tropical paradise that’s both relaxing and private. I was initially a bit apprehensive about the size, but Fushifari offers all the amenities of a larger resort, from multiple restaurants and watersports to a tennis court, gym etc. Small but mighty!
The food was also amazing - we loved the live stations in particular but there was a lot of variety.
Overall, I can’t recommend Fushifari highly enough! It easily ranks above most resorts in the Maldives. A solid 10/10!

We chose to stay in water private pool villa after we stayed for 3 nights at the beach pool villa and this one was superb it ticks every mark on our check list simple amazing and fully private so you don’t need to worry about your privacy

Everything was great it is the perfect escape for a couple who wants peace of mind away from everything the sea is great for swimmers, the food the atmosphere and everything is at your fingertips.
The staff were very nice and friendly and their hospitality is very good.
In general nothing, what i can only say is that the hotel should be giving small gifts as a gesture of hospitality as the boutique prices are very high

My experience at Fushifaru was nothing short of stunning — from the breathtaking location and the intimate charm of the island, to the lush nature, delicious food, and above all, the exceptional staff who made every moment special.
A special thanks to Hassan from the restaurant, who was the first to make me feel truly at home — always attentive, welcoming, and incredibly kind. He was like the Superman of the restaurant.Santy greeted me each day with a warm, professional smile that instantly made me feel good and welcomed. Samra made me the perfect dosa every morning and treated me with such kindness.
At the bar, Lily stood out with her beautiful energy, always smiling and genuinely uplifting — she truly lives up to her name. Rena and Thete were equally wonderful, constantly helpful and cheerful. And finally, Iqbal, who spoke to me in Arabic and brought a personal, friendly touch with his sense of humor and great spirit.
Every member of the team made this trip special in their own way. Fushifaru is a gem, and I left with unforgettable memories and deep gratitude.
While my overall experience at Fushifaru was truly unforgettable, there is one important point I feel the management should reconsider. I had booked an all-inclusive package, but unfortunately, it did not fully reflect the true meaning of “all-inclusive.”
Several items on the bar menu were not included, and many activities came with additional charges — even something as simple as a visit to the sandbank. I believe it would be a great step forward for Fushifaru to revisit the all-inclusive concept and work towards making it more comprehensive, covering not just food and a few items, but truly offering a full, worry-free experience that lives up to the name.

We had an absolutely amazing stay!
Diksha was the heart of our experience – warm, attentive, and incredibly efficient. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel welcome and cared for. No question went unanswered and no request was ever too much – she truly went above and beyond, making our trip unforgettable.
The island itself is absolutely breathtaking – a true paradise in the Maldives. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life, it felt like stepping into a dream. Whether we were snorkeling, walking barefoot on the soft white sand, or simply relaxing under the palm trees, every moment was magical. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
We also had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful staff members during our stay, and we’d love to acknowledge them here: Jalal, Lily, Magie, Maji, Neezam, Rena, Sakthi, Tete, Vimal and Vishnu – thank you all for making our experience so special. And a very special shoutout to Mosie, the housekeeper, whose kindness and attention to detail made us feel even more at home.

Diksha was amazing host she organized all my days helped me to get medicine when i got back pain and kept updating me about the activities.
All the team in diving center was great i tried all kind of sports activities with different instructors. Its absolutely like being in heaven and the house keeper was amazing … basically i felt like a queen from the airport to the island .

We stayed for our honeymoon and had the most wonderful 5 nights. The island is stunning and the service from the staff is hands down the best we have ever experienced in a hotel.
In particular the following staff made our stay so special: Jen - our go to guide making everything smooth and answering every request we had within minutes. Our waiter Hakee - SO attentive, went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and was incredibly professional, my wife in particular felt he made our honeymoon feel so special. One of the chefs - Shayan who made the tastiest masala omelettes for us every morning. He was so kind and made incredible food. Finally our cleaner Nandar - when we say we have never had a better cleaner, we mean it. She left our room sparkling every day and even took it upon herself to clean my wife’s beach towel which she left on the beach by accident. Which was extremely thoughtful of her.
Any guests looking to stay in the Maldives to have a beautiful stay, feel completely at ease - this is your place.

As middle-class but discerning customers, we know exactly what we are looking for in a vacation spot: privacy with minimal people around, delicious food, and a pristine beach with no seaweed. We have visited the Maldives multiple times and explored various resorts, some better than others, and one being a complete disaster. However, we finally found the perfect resort that ticks all the boxes: Fushifaru.
Fushifaru is a charming and cozy small island, roughly the size of a hand, which you can easily walk across in just five minutes. It is a natural island, meaning no artificial additions, and boasts beautiful white sand beaches all around. Unlike some artificial islands that have exposed sandbags and trash or natural islands where only one side of island is accessible (always check the satellite view when searching for a resort) Fushifaru offers a pristine environment, which is crucial not only for first-time visitors to the Maldives.
One of the island's greatest features is its lush greenery. The flowers, trees, bushes, and leaves create natural shade, giving a breathtaking sense of beauty and tranquility. The sea surrounding the island is equally stunning, with a beautiful beach and lagoon that are not found on every island. The level of privacy is unmatched; during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you will hardly see more than 10 out of the 50 tables occupied.
The staff at Fushifaru is incredibly friendly and attentive, making our stay truly enjoyable. We spent five nights on the sunrise beach side and absolutely loved it. Our villa was just 15 steps from the sea, which was the cleanest (no seaweeds) we've experienced in the Maldives. There are small pieces of corals by the entrance to the sea, but that is the mother nature. The only disturbing thing were the breakwaters and concrete piers but again - they have the safety reasons, and we got used to them.

One of the Maldives' jaw-dropping gems is Fushifaru Sandbank! The weather was nothing short of perfect for a day of sandy bliss, turning my visit into an unforgettable adventure that had me lost for words!
Also, the property exceeded our expectations overall. It featured a beautiful beach, friendly staff, excellent snorkeling, and vibrant marine life. Additionally, it was a delightful experience to spot stingrays and nurse sharks right on the property.
