Voile Bleue was a fantastic choice for a 3-night "jetlag recovery" stay. The staff was super friendly, the room was VERY clean, water pressure was great, and the bed was comfortable. The outside patio was lovely, with a view of the beach. Breakfast was great, and they were very careful about making everything gluten-free. The thatched-roof umbrellas, over lounge chairs on the beach, were great, and the views were stellar!
The only thing that was rough was something that has nothing to do with the hotel - the beach. One of the reasons the view is so gorgeous is that there are rocks and coral in the very shallow water, that are beautiful in the water as you look out. Unfortunately, this translates to sand that you cannot walk on without shoes or at least flip flops. This doesn't really matter if your goal is to hold down a lounge chair under a thatched umbrella on the beach - but if you want to exercise or go for a walk on the sand, you need shoes. There is a softer-sand beach 2 hotels up, if you want to get in the water without the extra exfoliation ;>))

The beach- is not usable in the sense that you can't swim at it. Bunch of rocks makes it hard to swim. Breakfast was monotonous. Extremely delicious bakery iterms though- so fresh and seems was baked and served right on the spot as the bakery items- bread and croissant were fresh and delicious. The room that we got was directly by the pool. Eventhough we didn't use the pool, we used the outside porch area to relax and eat most of the time. It was picture perfect in that we can see the ocean and enjoy the view of the pool. I liked the fact that we had a fridge and stove in the room as we used it for warming food and keeping our medicine cool and ready in the fridge. Yes I am talking at you Hilton Honors in Flic en Flac- fix your fridge.
nothing really. The value served by the hotel was excellent.

Good value for the money. Clean room and bathroom, clean sheets and towels. Nice terrace with beautiful view. Good breakfast
For breakfast, there were 2 standard options which were quite different in content. Would have been nice to be able to mix and match, nevertheless the coffee was a good coffee.
The parking was quite busy and most of the time you either block someone ( you have to leave them the keys) or you are the one blocked. Even so, the cars which are blocking others are managed by the host so that you can leave whenever you want.
All in all nothing really bothering

The staff and facilities were great. The restaurant on location was good.
The front desk staff were very helpful.
A quaint little supermarket up.the rd was good.
You need a car to get around if you dont want to eat nearby. Public transport is not guaranteed, especially in the evenings.

The only thing we didn't like was the food, the breakfast wasn't that good to be honest but we didn't try lunch or dinner so i don't know about that

Amazing value for money! Host Ali makes you feel welcome while showing you around the venue on arrival. All other staff has a warm and personal approach. Small details such as placing the napkin on your lap for dinner at the beach restaurant really make it all! Rooms are simple but clean and spacious. There is live music at Fridays and Saturdays but luckily a single guitar and vocals, which add value to the evening compared to loud disco music at other places. I only stayed for 1 night, but could definitely stay for longer!

Location was great, sea facing room, but on 1st floo, which wasn't too bad actually. We enjoyed the view from our room. Food was good, service ok. The kind I would expect for a 3* hotel.
Their Wednesday bbq and sega evening was a bit too much. Our room was close to the restaurant so we heard everything as if we were there, even though we were not.

Wonderful
We had a wonderful stay at La Voile Bleue. The place was spotless, and our apartment was spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was modern and very pleasant, and the kitchenette was practical and functional, complete with a small fridge that made it easy to store our drinks and everyday staples like butter, milk, and yogurt.
The swimming pool was a very comfortable size, perfect for relaxing, and the view was simply breathtaking. The little restaurant overlooking the sea served breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the most beautiful setting, making every meal a delight.
What we especially appreciated was the location — a little bit away from the busier coastal villages, it felt peaceful, private, and never overcrowded. But the real highlight was the staff: every single person was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful, which truly made our stay special.
La Voile Bleue is a gem that I would wholeheartedly recommend, and I would not hesitate to return.
Nothing - all good

Wonderful
Great little hotel, right at the beach (though not for swimming). Extremely spacious room, very clean, comfortable bed, well sized shower, good water pressure. Pool is lovely, with sea view. Staff is very kind and helpful.
Poor breakfast - you can choose b/w continental and english breakfast. Quality/taste of the food is average. Would wish for a buffet style breakfast. Bread could be better (often seemed old/dry).
Having a cup for the toothbrush would be nice ;)

The place would be perfect for a couple's get away. The food was good, service great and it was a beautiful place. My only comment is it was difficult for me using a walker/cane. There was some music from the evening entertainment but it didn't go on for too long and we were very tired.
It was beautiful and the food was good.

Location was great...staff great, amazing views. Rooms were quite big with small kitchenette.
Vegetarian food options poor but this was the same all over Mauritius. Some flexibility from the standard menu would have made it so much better.
