The property is quiet with 2 very good restaurants , a spa and a gymnasium, the proximity to Port Louis and public beaches is a plus. The staff was really friendly, helpful and professional, their presence made up for the stay.
The property could use some refreshing, an upgrade and the cleaning service should do a much better job to be amongst the 4 stars category; in my room some furnitures were stained and had no longer any business being there; the TV didn’t have any channels to offer; the breakfast buffet came somewhat short in just about everything, for example, the coffee served from the coffee machine was far from the best quality.

The whole place is like a castle which has many places and aspects for the guests to explore. And the Kayak experience provided for free was exceptional. Breakfast is good and the Mediterranean restaurant is very good.
Location not good, far from city centre and there's no facilities around the hotel. Japanese restaurants is not ideal for Asians who are used to authentic Japanese food.

Bathroom door latch was broken and was not repaired despite making the staff aware . Strong smell of something frying comes as soon as one comes out of the room . Extra bed was very uneven and difficult to sleep on

We had a terrible experience here, broken floor tiles in the room(I cut my foot on them), broken shower head, cracked tv screen, air conditioning was leaking water all over the floor and a wooden closet, that was moldy. The bed mattress had a dent in the middle, must have been extremely old. I could go on and on. The room was extremely noisy. The whole experience was disgusting, and wasn't even cheap. For the love of god, please save yourself the trouble and under any circumstances don't go here. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, without any access to a beach, so you need to rent a car to go anywhere. We had to change hotels, couldn't bare it. I travel a lot and never had an experience this disappointing.

Large and modern rooms with pretty decor and great vibe - very relaxing. Great restaurants and nice, clean pool with lovely sunset view over river. Friendly, polite and helpful staff, Would definitely stay there again.
Felt a little understaffed at times - shortage of towels and toilet paper.
