Clean facilities, courteous and ever smiling staff.
A very quiet and serene environment and above all pocket friendly.

The hotel is nice. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The location is close to a relaxing beach (but unfortunately not swimmable since the recent storms) with some nice family restaurants. Overall good value. The nearby laundry is useful, speedy and good value too.
The barking dogs in the neighbourhood made sleep difficult at times.

Poor customer service..rooms were not clean, plenty of bed bugs, pool was not clean, staff lack of manners, discrimination (receptionist stayed on other side of reception and we had to stand there to fill the forms but for foreigners, she made them sit and assist them). Tv are not smart tv. Only 1 towel provided in a room of 3 persons and all other amenities were provided only for 2 persons. Bottom line, a guest house is more luxurious than this hotel, if we can categorised it as a hotel.

We had a great few days at La Margarita, the room was clean, the staff was always cheerful and made us feel like at home. Our room had a balcony over the pool with palm trees around it, felt really nice just sitting there reading a book surrounded by the tree tops. We used this hotel as a base for our adventures around Mauritius, car rental adds a lot of options and access to a wide variety of beaches and activities, although the beach nearby (5 min walk) was nice. Great value for money, we will definitely return if we ever get a chance to visit Mauritius again. Thank you,
