For a girls trip this accommodation was perfect in terms of price, amenities and so forth, however do note if you have children that there will be music playing from 9pm - 10pm rougly with the entertainment. Each night there is a different type of cuisine e.g. Italian, Mauritian etc. We took the breakfast only option and we were happy with this as it allowed us to try out different restaurants and street food. The breakfast spread was really good and was better than the dinner. Also to note - we did not see an entrance to the beach where we could swim at the hotel. However the Mon Choisy beach is super close by.

Water quality of swimming pool was not good.

Location and staff

First impressions last. Our expectation as per pictures of advertisements in comparison to the general condition of the facilities were not good. Staff don't seem to be properly trained re basic service standards and reception personnel upon arrival certainly not very hospitable. General maintenance of the facilities would go a long way. As you enter the Hotel, the fish pond on either side is in a very poor state and either that or the refuse area next to that bears a bad smell. Shutter board used to cover trenches on pathways not a good impression. The pathways definitely not suitable for suitcases to be moved along, the grass and garden at the resort not well kept or seemingly maintained at all. At least cut the grass. Incents or perfume at the entrance is overwhelming. Toilets at reception does not smell good. Rubbish lying in hallways on first floor and basically everywhere in the resort - a basic responsibility of the grounds man and for all practical matters employed staff as they move around the facilities to be made aware of the state of the resort and public perception thereof. Guest clothing and towels hanging over balconies in clear view for all to see is not a good practise and should be guided by hotel management. Late night parties - private functions it seems, create a bit of a disturbance. We stayed 3 nights, there were two private parties. The main road against the area where we slept were quite noisy and busy but having full days elsewhere on the island, able to sleep through. Unfortunately, having stayed at a few other resorts prior to arrival at Coral D'Azur set an expectation of hospitality standards on the island. This resort however would not be an option for us as it does not compare / compete well with the others we had the privilege to stay at during our visit.

I would ask for something and it always seemed like a bother. The gym is filthy. The food was mediocre. Lots of geckos on the ceiling at night. They would vacuum outside my room at 7 am every morning. Banging into the door.

Maybe missed the info about show program being run until 11pm. For my personal taste, it was too much. No irons in the room is the hotel policy. I’d take my own if I knew this, as I don’t like using the laundries. I had food poisoning from the first dinner, luckily had all the meds and could recover in 1 day.

Nothing to Complain about.
