There’s nothing to complain about.

Over priced

location was a bit hard to find and during the night, a bit of a uncomfortable walk in the dark as it’s in a side road. lot of noise from the building of a Villa but hind the house so hard to sleep in the mornings. Rooster crowing all night and day made it noisy and hard to keep windows open so uncomfortable sleep, had to revert to the downstairs room where it’s cooler. I didn’t like the payment method of the property, normally you’d expect one form of payment and one deposit. but here you’re expected to pay a holding deposit to secure the stay well before the check in date and pay for the property all via bank transfer which is extremely difficult as there is a currency conversion fee from banks (lost out on 20e due to this which wasn’t even deducted from the stay). If you don’t use Euros or Mauritian Rupees, this is all difficult as it involves a lot of extra checks. On top of this, we were asked to pay a 200e deposit in cash which we didn’t have and didn’t plan for which had to take out in Rupees and in the long run, lost out in more conversion fees from GBP. All in all, would’ve been an adequate stay if it wasn’t for that or for there being no pool cleaner for the entirety of our stay and when I queried that from Kamala (the local host, the actual host isn’t based there as we didn’t meet them a single time). This wouldn’t have been an issue but there was a dead lizard in the pool and a lot of dirt in there as there was no pool cover. Good of them to offer transport to the Villa
