The cleanliness
First things first the check-in was fast and no informations about the facilities were communicated to us . When asked questions about dinner answer was I don’t know I’m not in charge of the night . Professionalism seemed to be a word since now unknown by none of them except the host at night . Before entering the swimming pool we did check the sign next to it and there were no instructions about the opening hours then later once my party was swimming someone came to us to explain that we couldn’t be inside how could you blame us if nothing was said before ? Then a lady approached us and stated that we have no right to drink or eat next to the pool we informed her that from our side the glasses were all empty and we are just coming from the beach but she turned her face like we were criminals . A stay is to relax and have fun but there was being on the tip of the toes hoping everything would be fine because apparently Mauritian citizen are not welcomed ! Once I mentioned that I do not live in the country and I’m on vacations the attitude change ! What a shame for Mauritian hospitality

Dinners were really good. Great place if you are looking to have fun. The hosts are fantastic entertainers and go the extra mile for their guest. Was a good overall stay.

Everyone is hospitable, kind, and helpful, from the chef and the cleaner to the owner. The food in the restaurant is top-notch and quite affordable. Once, I didn’t like my meal, and they refused to charge me for it, which is something that rarely happens in Europe. Essentially, Europe should learn the principles of hospitality from the people of Mauritius. A warm recommendation for Le Pole!
P. S. Chef from Kongo is making best cocktails! Great guy
There are many small things missing in the apartment, but if you ask, they really go out of their way to provide them. For example, they brought us an extra chair, a coffee maker when we requested it, and an additional trash bin for the bathroom. Essentially, just small details that would improve the overall impression, but I believe they will change for the better over time.

Very nice and no-fuss stay. Basic rooms, decently priced! Staff is super nice and professional! The pool is nice, breakfast decent and great location.

The room was very neat and clean and the staff accommodated for my needs whenever required. Jean Marc was very helpful, he gave me suggestions about the tours and the pub crawl scene there.
I wish there were more facilities in the room.

The room had an air con.
The place looked like the type of hotel where you bring a prostitute for the night. My first impression of the hotel was that it was sleazy. The tap in the bathroom was damaged with water spurting out of it every time you turned it on. I ordered food the first evening, and I was given an over-fried fish, with a handful of salad and white rice that looked like it was yesterday's leftover, along with a bottle of water. I was shocked to find that it cost me Rs1,650. The next evening, there was no food served, so I had to go without. I guess you get what you pay for.

The breakfast was adequate and fulfilled our needs. Our most pleasant experience was meeting Aisha who went above and beyond, both in friendliness and service. The bartender, Cado, was a delight to meet and endowed with a fabulous personality. He, also, went above and beyond. The meals were also very delicious and plentiful.
The attitude of the receptionist and the lack of TV channels. It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee making facilities in the room, as well as some basic toiletries ... There also should be some fine tuning within the organisation, especially when it came to payment in cash.
