It was a very pleasant hotel with a good location close to the centre of Valletta. The staff were very friendly, The room was clean.
The bet covers felt a little cheap for the level of hotel, they were clean and fresh just could have nee a little more plush

Location and the view !!
Breakfast !?
Dirty coffee cups including dried leftover coffee , hair and dust in the cups ?.
Uncleaned toilette , almost completely empty soap dispenser .
No hot water after arrival for 2 nights :-(
We have reported above , they did fix the issues …after 2 nights of waiting !
But it seemed like even we were not upset or outraged they couldn’t care less !!
We do travel a lot and we understand , that people are overworked and under appreciated ! However , we never felt that they just couldn’t care less giving us a room in this condition :-(
We didn’t get hysterical even upset ! We kind of felt extremely sad for the people who work there!!! We found ourself feeling empathetic to those who can’t take pride in their work and visible burnt out .
If you can’t overlook these above …please pick another place , I know we will .

The Luciano Al Porto Boutique Accommodations is a highly eccentric but charming hotel located half way up the steep side of the Valletta peninsula at the top of the Victoria Steps. It deserves more than its one official star, as it provides all the mod cons and more, just not in the way that you expect. I adored my huge room with its four giant windows and view of the Grand Harbour -- even the church bell-tower only a few yards away! Enjoyed many a tasty meal in the ground floor restaurant, the wifi is fine, and the staff is adorable.
This hotel was a last-minute replacement for another that canceled unexpectedly and I had to pay through the nose. It was a shock to find out that breakfast was served in a partner branch "a five minute walk away" -- 160-odd steps up the hillside! However that breakfast was excellent, and the morning walk was healthy in good weather; people in Valletta have to take steps for granted -- they're on the route to everything.

Excellent view. Private patio. Only room 4th floor. Breakfast & restaurant great. Would return. Nice location.

The perfect location, in the heart of Valletta, with views of the old harbor. The building itself was lovely and very picturesque.
Not as nice as the price would suggest. The windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in several years, and the bath towels were small, old and threadbare. One of them split almost in half while I was drying off. Also, the receptionist wasn’t very friendly when we checked in or the following day.

The view - to die for!
Location - 10 min from everything, including the ferry and boats.
Cozy room, very clean.
Did not go to breakfast. It is not on site.

Great location with hard to beat view of the harbour. We could enjoy the Friday night jazz at the bridge bar and fireworks across the harbour all from our little terrace. Nice and quiet but close to the Tourist action
We really wanted this place to be great but alas the bed was subpar, room was cramped, fixtures all aging, fridge barely working… the place feels neglected despite attempts to spruce it up. I think the owners are overstretched. The breakfast at Luciano was generous but not very well cooked and service was uneven. For this trip we travelled around Sicily to Valletta and this was the worst and most expensive accommodation of the lot. Bad luck for us but admittedly could be worse.

Amazing place! The room was very spacious, with super high ceiling, nicely decorated and air-conditioned. Also loved the multiple power outlet options.
Very conveniently located, and breakfast was delicious.

The room was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, staff welcoming, location perfect for accessing all the highlights of Valletta.
Breakfast was in a sister restaurant which was lovely. However, if breakfast had been on the hotel it would have been 10/10.

The room was gorgeous and clean. The location was great we were able to walk everywhere and to the bus station. Staff were very friendly.
The room wasn't very sound proof, we could hear music late into the night and building work very early hours of the morning. There was nowhere to hang towels.

The staff were responsive when we couldn’t open the balcony door.
I expected things to a little more elegant for the price point. The towels were worn through with holes. The views were spectacular from the room. This was our most expensive stay out of five locations on Sicily and Malta over fifteen days, the expense didn’t match the experience.
