A beautiful building band an absolutely perfect location. Staff was nice.
The decor is odd. Modern and sparse and really unexpected for such a beautiful old property. But it was comfortable. It was difficult to get massage appointments and restaurant reservations

The friendliness of the staff was exceptional, I had a nice chat with them, they helped me with everything :) They even surprised me with a birthday treat, which absolutely made my day! Thank you so much! Also the spa was really nice: a pool with nice temperature water, steam room, salt room - I had a really good time there. I can also recommend the hair saloon, without appointment they did a blowdry in excellent quality. If ever going to Malta again, I'll definitely stay at the Phoenicia.

People were wonderful. Courtyard lobby terrific. Great afternoon tea incl gluten-free items. Gorgeous gardens.
For me, comfort is correlated with rug in the bedroom. This non-descripti scrap of rug was just enough to accommodate morning exercises. The decor cd have popped with more and better rug. (Sorry to be picky.)

room was beautiful ,beds were so comfortable .we received complementary a bottle of bubbly and 10 euro voucher to used at the Spa and some sweet treats such a lovely touch . we didn't have breakfast as we normally do not at home but did have food at the pool bar which was of a high standard. The staff were all so helpful and service was exceptional . I did avail of the spa I had a massage which was divine. I most certainly will run to this hotel whenever I return to Valetta

The hotel felt at times like a home for aged British tourists. I suspect they made up 70-80 percent of the clientele. Perfectly decent people but the age skew made things decidedly odd.

Excellent Location, right in the heart of Valletta. Friendly and professional staff.
The rooms were more basic than expected vis-a-vis the price per room. So value for money can be better.
