Personnel was kind
The hotel is like an apartment transformed to a hotel unsuccessfully. Access to hotel, Access to rooms, labyrinth corridors, nowhere to be found light switched, no shampoo policy, manual key room, no insulation so that it allows all the noise of the crowd outside until the morning, messed up air conditioning and shower. Paid 20 percent more and stayed at a beach hotel they didnt even refund the nights i didnt stay eventhpugh mentioned in reception and through booking. Price should be 1/10 of the actual price.

The St. Julian's Bay Hotel was the best place I could wish for. Not only was the the view from my room breathtaking, the whole experience was very pleasant indeed. So much so, that after two days I decided to stay longer.
All and all I had 4 nights in this hotel.
Two days on the first floor with a sea view enjoying a luxurious dubble bed and two additional days in a more spartan single room but with the same spectacular view from it's the 5th floor.
The room booking was easy and the move effortless thanks to an efficiant young receptionist with a warm smile who took me up in an elevator and let me see the room before I decided to deffinetely take it.
Happy 4 days.

I promissed I would write a review so here it is. The best I could do.
... a comfortable bed - check, good shower - check, everything clean - check, location - doubble check!! Friendly and competent staff - tripple check
But the highlight was the balcony! The view and the opportunity to wach the Maltese light change over the water in the morning sun, it's pinks and reds .... simply unforgetable. And don't start me on the after the sunset light ?
Highly recomended!!

Toilet crammed in behind sink
TINY shower with a very sensitive handle where water went from ok to scalding very easily. Had to shower with door open

The room was quite large for two people.
Staffa were perfect.
The doors and windows were nearly as if they werent there. We slept as we were in the middle of the street all night. All the noise was inside all night till the sun rised. The swimming pool complex, located on the opposite pavement of the hotel, opens for the training of Maltese swimmers at 06:30 in the morning and this is the first time you wake up.
You have to take a shower in a smaller from 1mx1m cabinet, which was larger than the other rooms in the room we stayed in. If you go as a family, it will be very difficult to wash your child in that shower cabin. Their shampoo was very bad and there was no conditioner.
There are no duvet covers - you cover yourself with sheets from top and bottom and they all fall apart in the middle of the night.

The staff was excellent. Every one of them each day. They were from diverse countries and backgrounds but all have really good manners and were very friendly. Highly appreciated ?
Then the beds and pillows were comfy
The balcony door didnt close properly and the A/C was old and not working well and bad smell. It was not mainted in many years
