Good
Pool was nice
The room was fine, the bathroom was awful. There were cockroaches, the shower doors didn’t properly close so the bathroom got soaked during showers and the shower head holder didn’t work so I had to hold it the whole time as well.

Wonderful
The breakfast was an open bar. It doesn't have too many options but they are quite enough. Cannot complain at all.
The staff was great aside one guy.
The guy from the afternoon/evening was somehow grumpy. He doesn't have the best attitude to work in these type of places or this type of job.
The music was not working and it was kind of annoying. However, the staff took care of this.

Location is good. In front of the beach, transports just near by. Pool and good and big common areas.
My bed charger was not working, WiFi connection not always worked in the bedroom, the door of the bathroom needs to be fixed, not easy to close and open and made a lot of noise. The other bathroom the door did not close. Not to much staff or planned activities, the bar was closed one day because no staff were available. The space has all the potential but needs some adjustments :)

Very Good
great location close to the beach
helpful, friendly staff
spacious hostel, beautiful outdoor space
I stayed here about a year ago and rated it higher. The hostel has expanded and now instead of professionals studying English, working remotely and backpackers, it appears to be catering towards the 16-21 year old crowd - loud drinking games in the common area the night I arrived, a large group of what appeared to be young students who didn't clean up after themselves, vapid conversations about shots of liquor and outfits on Instagram, dance music by the pool and hammock area. I would have thought the price increase would have shifted the demographic in the opposite direction, but perhaps if people are living at home and not paying rent, this is their party trip. Intergenerational, international spaces can be fantastic (and hostels hit or miss depending on who is there at the time), but I was a disappointed by the changes and not sure I'd return in the future. I'm not sure a 100? bed space classifies as boutique anymore. 1 toilet in a dorm room for 12 people isn't enough (the alternative is a walk outside and downstairs in the middle of the night).
Most people brought rolling suitcases, some guests more than one, which took up limited space in the bedrooms and blocked others' access to drawers and ladders. I'd recommend requiring guests to put additional suitcases that don't fit in the drawers under the beds in the stored luggage room, and enforcing the signs about quiet hours and cleaning up after yourself. The woman cleaning up after the kids who consistently left a huge mess in the kitchen, including cooked food (meat) in pans on the stove for hours, deserves a raise!

I absolutely love everything here: the location, the always kind and helpful staff, the facilities, breakfast, WiFi, the very well-equipped kitchen, the outside bar with a great view, and the spacious common area for work. Every time I come to Malta, I stay here. Highly recommended!

Wonderful
I stayed here for the first time ever in a hostel, and to my surprise, it was very comfortable and not intimidating at all. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The whole place was kept clean and well-maintained, and I really appreciated the effort they put into that.
Breakfast was a highlight with plenty of variety every day, and the special Maltese breakfast on Wednesdays was absolutely amazing. The hostel is also in a perfect location, very close to amenities, bus stops, and plenty of restaurants, which made getting around super easy.
Overall, I had a really positive experience here and I’m happy with my stay. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Amazing value for your money, amazing staff, amazing location... Can only recommend. The views over the bay and the little jungle underneath are just too charming to resist. If you want to start your Maltese adventure, this is the place!
Oh, also have to mention the breakfast buffet on Wednesdays that I was lucky enough to catch on my last day! So delicious and totally included with the price! I loved it.
I should also mention how dedicated the staff in general is. There was always someone cleaning around, arranging the kitchen... really impressive. And the receptionists were all top tier, including the night shift. Incredible professionalism
The only negative side is the lack of sockets in the bathrooms. I think there must be some technical issue going on, because none of the bathrooms have them, so to use the hairdryer you first need to go ask for it from the reception and then dry your hair in the public area. I always felt a bit bad about this because I didn't want to disturb anyone. But there was no other way. Or you can use them in the room, but I was in a bunk beds room and didn't want to disturb my roommates.
This was really the only downside. Oh, and the pool is really tiny, but it doesn't really matter since you have the sea literally 300m away. So you can just walk in your flip-flops to the bay and jump into the water. No need for a pool

The location is right above a waterfront cove full of restaurants, bars, and bus stops making it convenient to everything. The dorms were small, quiet, and air conditioned giving privacy to each bed with curtains, a light, and a charging point. Security was also strong with a bracelet to unlock your door and your own under the bed locker (bring your own lock). WiFi was good enough for video chats and working remotely. All in all 10/10 would stay again.
There were a few small things that could be changed but had minimal impact on my stay: the shower head didn’t stay in the holder so you had to hold it to shower. The lockers are drawers and they all squeak when being opened or closed. The curtains for the bed are very light weight so the light goes straight through them. Only a sheet to sleep. Not a big deal, but FYI

We had a wonderful stay at this hostel! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist with anything we needed. The hostel is very clean and well-maintained, with good facilities and comfortable common areas to relax in. Breakfast was tasty and a nice way to start the day. The location is excellent – well connected to other parts of the island, which makes getting around very easy. The overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to meet people and enjoy your stay. We would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting the area!

I really liked how clean everything was, especially the way they keep the pool in great shape. The staff pays attention to every little detail, and the pool bar really gives the hostel a nice boost — so well done on that! But please review the breakfast… where are my omelettes? ?
During my stay, they were doing floor renovations, so there was a lot of noise and it was hard to get to my room. I even had a little accident because the path wasn’t cleared.
And honestly, the night guy at reception… not great. He just follows the rules without thinking, stirs things up with guests, and doesn’t really pay attention !! which leaves a bad impression for people staying there. Please give him some training on how to speak to and treat guests, even if they make mistakes or get things wrong.

I liked the concept of the Hostel.
The common area.
Our bathroom was often very dirty.
The Aircon was super loud and often too cold.
Only one towel for an entire week.
I stayed in the Penthouse and hated that mostly men stayed in the room. Didn't feel safe the last night.
Almost all of them snored.
The terrace was obviously used to smoke which ended up in the room.
Breakfast was basic. Could improve with better bread and different types of fruit.
It's absolutely overpriced in my opinion.

Even though you label food, there is a problem with people stealing your food outright from the refrigerator or getting into your bag of labeled food on the shelves and eating a portion of your items.
They don’t have a freezer! It’s extremely hot there so having a freezer where you can buy ice for your drink so you can drink something cold, or and my case to store ice cream I bought without knowing they didn’t have a freezer, is something I consider essential.
They don’t have any outlets in the bathroom, where the mirror is in order to blow dry your hair or curl it. You can only do it from your room, but there is not a mirror to be able to see anything.
There are no hooks in the shower stalls so nowhere to hang your clean towel so you have to put it on the dirty floor. There’s also no place to hang your clothes in the shower so you have to take your clothes off outside of the shower and the door to the bathroom opens up into the openings of the shower so if you are standing there, trying to get your clothes off to leave them on the outside of the shower, again on the Dirty floor, and someone opens the bathroom door. Anyone in the hallway can see you standing there naked or at Best any of your roommates that are in the bathroom with you have to see you naked because there’s nowhere to hang your clothes on the inside of the shower to change out of your clothes inside the shower. The labels they give you to label your food don’t stick. It doesn’t cost much to buy the small sticky notes so at least once you write your name, room number and departure date, you can stick it to the item. They even saw them in the two convenience stores that are right down the road from the Hostel.

This hostel is absolutely gorgeous. It’s genuinely like a hotel experience. The pool is very clean and a lovely place to spend the day lounging and socializing with other travelers. The beds are comfortable and have curtains. They even provide free towels and soap! It’s also in such a great area with easily accessible restaurants and shops.
